Anthem College – Sacramento Campus

Overview

Anthem College, formerly affiliated with Cambridge College, has offered job training for career-focused students. Real world experience in conjunction with classroom instruction provides skills for a career in the fields of computer networking, electronics, medical assistance and CAD technology, among others. AC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Campuses are conveniently located in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

Anthem College is conveniently located within 15 miles of downtown Sacramento. In addition to its central location, students benefit from transit services in the area, such as the urban light rail, bus service, and express commuter buses from suburban cities. These services make is easier for students to commute to campus.

The health care industry in Sacramento County is expected to see steady growth. Economists predict that the industry will grow at an annual rate of 2.6 percent between 2008 and 2018. This makes it the fastest-growing nonfarm industry in the county.

In addition, health-related jobs account for almost half of the 50 fastest-growing occupations in the county.   The list includes careers such as Medical Records and Health Information Technicians and Massage Therapists.

Student Appeal

In addition to training, the Career Services Assistance department helps graduating students create a resume, practice interview skills and search job placement ads for the best opportunities in each individual student's field. Free academic tutoring is also available and the Student Services department also helps students find nearby places to live.

Financial

Anthem College offers qualified students a broad range of options for affording tuition. The Financial Assistance department provides grants, loans and scholarships to low-income students and highly-skilled students as well. The school has its own loan program which provides private options exclusively for AC students. Military personnel and veterans are also eligible for Federal Military Aid to help fund their education.
