Overview

IntelliTec College provides career-oriented training and education to working adults and students interested in pursuing accelerated specialization in Healthcare, Business, Vocational, Design, and Information Technology programs. Graduates of IntelliTec earn Associate Degrees or Certificate and are qualified to take certification exams or enter their professional industry immediately.

IntelliTec College facilities are centrally located in Colorado Springs at 2315 E. Pikes Peak Avenue in a specifically equipped and functionally designed one story 30,000 square foot building. The building includes spacious classrooms and laboratory facilities for all programs, admissions offices, a career services office, a student business office, a financial aid office and administrative and business offices.

IntelliTec College’s facilities are carefully designed and constructed to meet the particular needs of specific technical and design programs. Interior finish, decoration and furnishings enhance the student’s environment and offers a quality learning atmosphere. Ample student parking surrounds the facilities.

Career Training Programs: Facilities and Equipment

  • The automotive department is in a separate building across the street from the main campus and is specifically devoted to the automotive program. The Automotive Technician laboratory is equipped with cars, lifts, diagnostic equipment, automotive service software, brake, engine, electronics, air conditioning, transmission and other trainers.
  • The Computer Technology department is equipped with a student computer work station for each student, along with software required for training.
  • The Environmental Technology (HVAC) department is equipped with furnaces, computerized simulations, refrigeration units, evacuators, thermostats, electrical controls and additional equipment.
  • The Medical Technology department is in a spacious, newly-renovated building that was specifically designed as a working medical facility. The medical education facility also has a medical reference library.

Student Appeal

IntelliTec instructors utilize hands-on teaching methods to provide students with working knowledge and experience in order to make the transition between study and professional career success as seamless as possible. Employers are in regular contact with IntelliTec Career Services and frequently visit campuses for job fairs and curriculum consultation. Graduates and students are assisted with career placement during and long after studying at IntelliTec.

Financial

Financial aid is available to qualified students and includes state and federal grants, loans, and work study. Financial Services officers dispense aid and help students throughout the enrollment process in financing education. IntelliTec is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).
