Program Information:
Incentive payments to eligible professionals and eligible hospitals will be provided by the Arizona Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program. This will be done as they demonstrate adoption, implementation, upgrading, and meaningful use of certified EHR technology. This incentive program is designed to support providers in this period of Health IT transition and instill the use of EHRs in meaningful ways to help our nation to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient health care. The responsibility for implementing Arizona’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is done by the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System Administration (AHCCCS).
