Program Information:
On May 2, 2011, Indiana joined other states in launching the Indiana Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 authorizes the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide incentives for eligible professionals (EPs) and eligible hospitals (EHs), as the professionals and hospitals adopt, implement, upgrade, or demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology.
