Program Information:
Tennessee supports the adoption of Electronic Health Records by providing financial incentives under Medicare and Medicaid to eligible professionals and hospitals that implement and demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology. Through TennCare, Tennessee eligible practices will be able to get information concerning EHR incentive payments available through TennCare/Medicaid and Medicare. Provider eligibility criteria for TennCare/Medicaid EHR incentive payments are also available to eligible practices. EHR adoption and meaningful use requirements associated with the TennCare/Medicaid EHR Provider Incentive Program will be required to be entitled to reimbursements and will include the application process for EHR incentive payments.
