Program Information:
The Wisconsin Health Information Technology Extension Center (WHITEC) provides education, outreach, and technical assistance to Wisconsin health care providers in selecting, implementing, and using health information technology to improve the quality and value of health care within the state. Beginning Jan. 3, 2011, CMS Launched registration for eligible health care professionals and eligible hospitals who wish to participate in the Medicare EHR Incentive Program. However, registration for the Wisconsin Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is currently not available. Wisconsin anticipates launching the program in Summer 2011. Once the specific date has been determined the states website will be updated and the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program list will be notified.
