Regional Preferred Provider Organization (RPPO):

A PPO is a type of Managed Care Organization (MCO) offered under the federal Medicare Advantage program in which hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers offer health care at reduced rates to an insurer’s clients. PPOs may either me local (LPPOs) or regional (RPPOs) serving either a single state of larger area.
