Terrible terrible place. I would rather die than let these med school rejects treat me. Place is a dump. Went in with a broken clavicle and they wouldn’t even prescribe me 800mg Motrin. Hmm, I wonder why there’s an opiate epidemic, how else are people supposed to treat their pain when the Doctors won’t?
Went in yesterday with a swollen jaw from a bad tooth that was infected and the doctor was in the room for 30 secs then didn't even prescribe me antibiotics he prescribed me a cold medicine
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! As most people in Scioto County, knows, MOST of us do NOT like, nor trust SOMC!!! This place is VERY, VERY GOOD about getting you seen and getting you out in a timely manner, but are not just rushing you through. The most we've ever spent there was 45 minutes tops, but were definitely cared for as to why we were there! Every staff member myself, family or friends have ever encountered have been VERY POLITE!!! I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND you going here next time you need to go to an urgent care, or An E.R. visit!!!
I received great and friendly care all the way up until I was seen by the doctor/Nurse with the doctor. I was barely checked out, and was completely brushed off about the symptoms/concerns. I was given an antibiotic, but nothing else was done when other things could have been done while I was in their care. I also received very sly, judgemental and rude comments. I will not be returning and do not recommend this urgent care to anyone. I received great care here before so I am very disappointed about my experience tonight.
Went in last night for flu like symptoms, fever of 101.5, body aches, chills oh and full blown techacardia (spelling?) they refused to swab for the flu, and ignore my 130 heart beats per minute and proceeded to give me an unnecessary steroid shot which only made my heart beat faster (150 beats per minute by the time I rolled around to Somc) and said I had a viral infection. There's really nothing to treat a viral. Viral does not equal antibiotics okay, bacterial = antibiotics. I'm sorry, where did your doctors go to medical school?
