Logan Memorial Hospital

They did no test, just came in and talked to me, then that was the last time I saw the Dr. When I got ready to go I told the nurse I needed help to the car, and then I heard them talking and on of them saying what was I waiting for,and heard another day she didn't know that I was just sitting on the edge of the bed, I could hardly use my left leg, then this hateful nurse came in there finally with the wheel chair. Some of the most hateful people. I know these drug heads messing it up for people who are really having problems, but it seems like they do more for them than for people who actually has something wrong.

Went into the er for horrible kidney pain and nausea was there 4 1/2 hours didn’t give me fluids or antibiotics or anything but nausea medicine That I told doesn’t work for me i also asked for a cup of water and never brought it. Patrick Owsiak was the doctor and acted like he absolutely knew nothing or cared just sent me home. Only doctor I have ever liked there was crafton.

I was taken to this hospital because I had sever pain. The doctors and nursing staff was great but I was told if I paid that a discounted amount of 867.52 dollars of estimate bill of 2891.74 in 2 days that it would save me a lot of money, I have no insurance do to Obama care I had it prior to it. The bill came in at 13191.31 after what I already paid this makes the estimate a sham 600 percent higher than original est. They are charging me extremely high because I don’t have insurance it makes me believe because I prepaid and they ran my credit they found out I had a great great score so they extorted me. My son went to same hospital and had same test and pain killer same doctor it was identical he was billed 2600.00 my exwife has Medicaid was only charged 1800.00 for similar test and stay. I am an owner operator of my own truck, this pushed me into bankruptcy.

With 8 trips to the ER , Logan Memorial Hosp. In Russellville, wouldn't do anything except drug my wife up , and send her home. I raised 9 kinds of cane trying to get the ER Dr to emit her, with no luck, within hours I had to rush my wife back to the ER because she was in excruciating pain. Again all Logan Memorial would do for her is drug her up and send her home. I took her to GreenView Hosp in BowlingGreen , they run blood work urinalysis and ct scan and with a 102.8 temperature she needed emergency surgery. GreenView Hosp did what Logan Memorial wouldn’t do. I would not recommend my dog to go to Logan Memorial Hosp , I will be more than happy to drive the extra distance to Good health care than go to Logan Memorial just to get drugged up and sent home. When a person is in need of emergency surgery. GreenView gets a 6 star rating and Logan Memorial gets. 0-1 rating. 0 rating isn’t a option, because I would’ve chosen 0 .

The ER is terribly run. I took my 8 yr old who had a broken wrist... 2 bones. We waited 4 and a half hours... and left. No one checked on him, brought him ice, or told us how long it would be. I checked with the front several times and apparently they don't communicate with the doctors/nurses because they could never tell me when he could POSSIBLY get back. They called other people back that were obviously not in pain or as urgent as he was. He cried and cried. A couple prayed with us because he was hurting so bad. We left the ER after a lady came in on her own with a child in no clear distress and was called back in less than 30 minutes. Prior to that there was a lady that came in after us who also had an accident and they gave her ice and called her back as my 8 yr old lay there crying. We drove to Greenview and went straight back and he received immediate attention. I will never go back to Logan Memorial ER... even with broken bones or bleeding heads on my grandchildren because they just don't care. Absolutely NO communication. I even told the triage nurse that I could leave and go somewhere else early on. She said he needed to be seen because clearly his wrist was broken. I should have left then... if only they would have indicated it could be hours I would have. And then I got a bill for $350.00 and they never saw him!!!
