feedback about Lone Peak Hospital
My wife and I had an amazing experience having our first child here around 2 years ago. We’ve recently started going back in preparation for our second child. Most all doctors, nurses and staff have been great. I work in the medical field and have pretty high standards. We’ve been very pleased.
This review, however, is geared mostly towards the customer service. Mike from security went ABOVE AND BEYOND when I called looking for my wife’s hydro flask that she had misplaced. Mike took it upon himself to go as far as pulling camera footage to help my wife locate it. Are you kidding me?? Thank you Mike and thanks Lone Peak for the excellent care!
We just delivered our third baby here. Having delivered our first two at the same hospital in Oregon it was emotional for me to be going somewhere else. But we may have had our best labor and delivery experience yet! The nurses here were attentive, caring, had wonderful senses of humor and took very good care of me and baby. I felt confident in their care. The rooms are nice and I loved not having to switch rooms after delivery! There were several little touches that were extra nice like the fancy celebration dinner, stocked fridge and smoothie machine for patients, extra supplies they sent us home with, and the baby billboard. I would recommend Lone Peak Labor and Delivery to any of my friends.
I recently had back surgery at Lone Peak Hospital. My experience there was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The nurses were incredible, from pre-op to post. The surgical team made me feel comfortable. The recovery team were fantastic as well. And I especially want to mention Liz, the nurse on the fourth floor. For everything thing she did.
I have to say, I'm not the best patient.
Again thanks to everyone who helped me through a difficult time for me.
I gave them an my address and information when I visited back in April and somehow they recorded it wrong. My insurance was supposed to cover it so I didn't give it a second thought. I never received a bill until a collection agency got a hold of me. Really not cool...
when I was pregnant I had some routine blood work done here (back in December 2017). A month ago I received a call from a collections agency that stated Lone Peak had sent me to collections for unpaid bills. As I had only been to one appointment before switching doctors I was incredible confused. It took me talking to 3 different people from the hospital before I discovered the lab was who sent me to collections. When I asked why I never received a bill they stated it was because they didn’t don’t have my apartment number (and they couldn’t have called me to get it why???). They then told me I had to pay the bill through the collection agency. I did. Then I called my insurance to find out why they didn’t cover my lab work. The insurance told me they did pay it and sent me documentation to prove I did not owe Lone Peak for the amount I paid. So first they sent me to collections without sending me a bill and then I find out they sent me to collections (destroying my credit) for an amount I didn’t actually owe them!!! It’s been over a month since this all happened and my insurance company as well as myself and my husband have called almost daily trying to get a refund on the amount we paid and the hospital just states our account is closed and refuses to help us. I’m at my wits end, this is an incredibly frustrating situation for new parents who have legit medical bills to pay without being charged for things our insurance already covered!!!!
