feedback about Lone Peak Hospital
I just had my third child and delivered at Lone Peak. I wish I had been able to have my other two at this facility. I was treated like family by all the nurses. I was never forced to do anything with my child I didn't want to do. I had a situation arises shortly after delivery and the nurses kept calm and worked quickly and took care of a scary situation. My midwife Eve Blair was AMAZING! Best delivery I have had so far. Not only were my baby and I well cared for, but my husband was too. They made a bed for my husband, and we both got brought meals. My baby was born on Christmas Eve, and we were unable to be released early. The hospital staff was so accommodating of my small children so we could be together for the holiday. Over all we had a great experience and would recommend this hospital to our friends and family!
My wife and I had an amazing experience having our first child here around 2 years ago. We’ve recently started going back in preparation for our second child. Most all doctors, nurses and staff have been great. I work in the medical field and have pretty high standards. We’ve been very pleased.
This review, however, is geared mostly towards the customer service. Mike from security went ABOVE AND BEYOND when I called looking for my wife’s hydro flask that she had misplaced. Mike took it upon himself to go as far as pulling camera footage to help my wife locate it. Are you kidding me?? Thank you Mike and thanks Lone Peak for the excellent care!
My 17-month-old got extremely sick during the night and after horrible experiences at American Fork hospital last year, I took him to Lone Peak instead... and I’m so glad I did! The staff was eagar to help my baby and they were very patient. Our nurse Jerry was knowledgeable, quick, and great all around. Everyone that helped us here was great. Thank you!
I always have such an amazing experience with my midwife eve Blair she is seriously the sweetest most educated medical professional I’ve had. She is so patient too. But I went in last week and she wasn’t available because of a baby she was delivering and I got assigned to Michelle grub. It was the worst experience I have had. I swear she did my appointment in like 5 minutes. I had an ultrasound scheduled that day to make sure my baby was positioned correctly at 38 weeks. It seemed like I was such a burden on her day. Didn’t care about me and treated me like I was nothing. I’m not sure if it was because I am Latina or because she is just rude but if you are looking to have someone caring and attentive to you and your needs, I highly recommend Eve and I highly highly recommend staying away from Michelle. I’m thankful I got eve because she made my first impression of lone peak so wonderful but if I had gotten Michelle I would have switched in a heartbeat.
Hands down the best hospital for maternity. Never seen such hospitality, care and comfortability anywhere. The nurses were awesome and they were readily available to help you whenever you need them(few exceptions but negligible since they keep switching). The food choices were great and free for one of the guest too. The celebratory dinner was top notch. The rooms were big enough to fit lot of visitors and felt home.
If I have to nitpick, while the food orders were fast they could invest a bit more in good chef(s) to prepare a bit more quality and tasty food(some were great some were not)and choices. But not a big complaint though.
