Worked in registration department ABSOLUTELY horrible experience and process ! Director has his favorites, will slander your name, and talk about you to others; at times you will run a 12 hour shift by yourself. HR is no good I discussed issues I was having within the department and NOTHING was done about the situation I do not recommend anyone to work in this department at Martin General

I only gave a star because i guess you have to in order to comment. My mother called 911 and the response time was good. However the problems set in upon arrival. She sat for hours before she was seen. She was seen because as we waited her condition got worse. I was very patient but she began freaking out and i looked around the corner this receptionist or whatever was laughing. I cussed her out at the risk of disorder. But it was only then before she got service. I will be talking to their human resource department about this lack of service lack of professionalism. I will tweet/tag wral, wnct, witn and will be taking further steps. It is a damned shame that elderly folks get this type of treatment. Couple that with being a minority and draw your conclusions

My mother was in there 3 days. I was told my brother and aunt's were waiting on a surgeon to come talk to them. I live 4hrs away. On the 3 day I took that 4hr drive home. The doctor finally told us that the surgeon was off for the rest of the week. I still don't understand why the doctor wasn't upfront with my family. The staff did very poorly. There were 2 staff members that actually showed compassion. I have never in my life seen anything like the staff. They had names of cna's on the board as nurses. I was so disappointed that my brother and myself asked the doctor to transfer our mother to another hospital.

They treat BLACK PEOPLE as if we don’t deserve to be cared for!!! I wish there was a NEGATIVE star I could give! I came in with my SICK CHILD and watched as WHITE peoples walked in and were taken straight to the back with NO WAIT time for minor injuries and issues while my child just has to suffer! When I voiced my concerns I’m told to just wait! I end up leaving and going to PITT of course issues were resolved! But when I called back, the lady who answered the phone in the ER really proved to me that color IS what they see and it’s sad because we ALL bleed the same! Y’all took an OATH TO PROVIDE CARE TO ALL when you applied for that job at MARTIN GENERAL but I see your racism in WILLIAMSTON is wanting to show up! Nothing like getting the NEWS MEDIA involved to get care BACK under control!

The staff here is fantastic! I much prefer small hospitals to those giant ones where everyone is in such a rush and so impersonal.
