Mayo Clinic Health System Chippewa Valley

Mayo Clinic is supposed to be top notch. The clinic in Chippewa Falls, however I would avoid. The wait times are ridiculously long, meanwhile you are stuck in a teeny tiny waiting room, with uncleanly sick people. It smells gross and feels gross. hospitals should be clean considering what comes in and out of them each day. And appointments should be able to be met on time. I take the time to make sure i arrive on time. I would expect the same from the Dr. to make the appointment at a reasonable amount of time as well.

I think the people and providers genuinely care about their patients. The staff there provide a friendly atmosphere and they strive to set the best possible treatment for you. Highly recommend!

Unacceptable. It took 11 calls and 7 days to get a prescription filled- a diabetes basic medication. Needing paperwork filled for a basic disability situation they would not do the paperwork without several tests which I just had done elsewhere and they (mayo) would not accept. They are ONLY about $$$$ patient care is second.
