I delivered my baby the past April 8th in this hospital. I can't be more than grateful for all the help and patience from the nurses and doctors who assist me. Even by phone, every time I had to call for directions previous to appointments everyone had been helpful. Before this I had a visit to the emergency room 4 years ago when I first moved to Los Banos and all I can say is that the service was very quick and precise. I remembered everyone from the staff being very professional and polite (of course the bill to my insurance was insane)

I've had to come here many times over the years. Appendix burst, they saved me. Had both my kids here. 🙂 Had family members being treated here. The nurses are the best. Had a same day surgery a few years ago, the nurse who cared for me after, in gyno Isa is the nicest lady ever. Short, thin lady from the Philippines. Made me feel like a friend. I love LB hospital. E.R. might be slow, but it's an E.R.

Its a ya and a nay for me here. Some nurses are awesome and friendly and understanding, others treat you like your a junky and wasting their time. If your not in immediate danger, chances are you'll sit in the waiting room till you ailment subsides on its own. I dont know about the surgical team, ive never had to met them. But i absolutely LOVE the maternity ward. The ladies there are so helpful and attentive, the room was a little warm but the bed was comfy. Also ive heard horror stories about hospital food, but the times ive been admitted here and was served food, i couldn't complain, it wasnt half bad.

Worst hospital visit of my life! I had my first accident in Los Banos, CA. I was taken to the emergency room, but it seemed like the nurses had no idea what to do with me. I have no family anywhere near there. The hospital failed to inform my family that I was in an accident. They discharged me THAT night. First off, how was I going to get anywhere with no car? How was I going to call anyone with a dead phone and I even TOLD them my phone was dead and asked several times to borrow their phone to get in touch with my family. How can you let a patient sit in the cold waiting room for 5+ hours? I begged them for a blanket and finally after an hour they gave me one. It was 4am I remember and I begged them to let me sleep in a bed. The level of disrespect from your staff is concerning. I would NEVER recommend this facilty to a dying person. You guys need better training or get a different job where you can actually be lazy. At a hospital, you are working with patients from all different health backgrounds and needs. If you can't do your job please don't work here. Simple.

How is this even a healthcare facility? I had an emergency which required immediate care. I could tell the ER staff were half-baked. I contacted my personal physician two hours away and he was literally placed on speaker and could be heard giving the ER staff - including treating physician - directives on how to treat me. Once stable, my personal physician arranged an ambulance transport out of there! It was a long ambulance ride, though well worth it. The paramedic even said to me that they are typically called out to the hospital for medical transportation to another hospital when a patient has private insurance due to the poor reputation of Los Banos Memorial. Whether it is the lobby security, triage nurse or emergency department physicians — they’re all equally guilty of being idiots and should be no where near a person in need of emergency care.
