Memorial Hospital of Salem County, NJ is in dire need of this upcoming take over. CHANGES ARE NEEDED Starting from the top Senior Management, beginning with Tammy Torres, CEO. A serious change needs to happen in order for this hosptial to even deserve a 1 Star rating. They have every patient from ICU to Patient Observations on 1 floor. The hospital is a disaster. Tammy is new but when presented with serious situations she has proven she is not the right fit to manage a hospital that needs a complete overhaul. Bring in someone who has more then what she can offer Salem County residents. We deserve better! .Its time to make this hospital a decent hospital again. A place where you feel confident to take yourself or your loved ones for medical treatment and not second guess your decision to go there . They allow their RN's to show their tattoos. So unprofessional! If they have a tattoo, They should have to cover it up while working . It truly feels like you are in a third world country when you are in this hospital. No class or decorum.

This hospital is awful. We need trustworthy health professionals that care about our medical needs and that care about their patients being diagnosed properly. And not just pushed out the door. Many of us have children and families we want to live and be healthy for. Our level of care is important to all of us and being properly diagnosed is important. This hospital is going to end up being shut down if they don't make some changes. I don't know about any of you but I like my information especially medical private and when your tiragged at Salem you don't get that opportunity to share your medical concerns privately without the whole waiting area listening to you speak with the nurse. There's alot of changes that need to be made. When my grandfather and sister worked here I would be in and out and treated with respect. Alot of the people have retired since or moved. And now it's just falling apart.smh people we really need to do something about this.

Biggest abortion on the planet!! Very unprofessional. Except when it comes to over billing. Too much to write. They take advantage Of senior citizens because they think they're stupid. Dr sultan ignores seniors who request to speak to him ---then he sends them an outragous bill, saying that he attended to thrm. Outright fraud.

This hospital is in disarray. It needs to be sold or closed! I was abused by a Cooperc Dr. Yes, Memorial Hospital does not even have many of their own Dr's. They lease out Cooper Hospital Dr's who truly do not care about the mistreatment of patients or the hospital itself. The Nurses are rated A Plus but they have no authority over Cooper Doctors. Reports are on file with State Police, Office of Disabled and State of NJ Investigators and also reported to Executive Management Ms.Torres,CEO of Memorial Hospitals office. Shameful and disgraceful and abusive treatment.

Don't ever go here if you're in pain-you will only get treated like a drug seeker. My mom took me here because I fell in the shower and hit my head, neck, and back as a result. I could overhear the staff talking about me, laughing about the state of my condition and saying that I was only there to get painkillers. My mom and I also overheard them making fun of another patient-not only joking about having a fish bone stuck in her finger, but showed their racism by letting out an African chant in a mocking way after the patient left!!

So thank you Salem Hospital, for making me feel bad for being injured. You owe me, that patient, and everyone else you've victimized an apology. If you expect to be respected, try having some consideration for your patients and be professional about your job. Would you want to be treated like garbage if YOU were the patient? What about your loved ones? How would you feel if they were mistreated by hospital staff? Please consider this the next time you're laughing at a patient. Grow up and take your job seriously!
