I was involved in a motorcycle accident north of Broken Bow recently. My boyfriend had a compound fracture at his ankle so we were transported to Mena Regional for an Ortho doctor. We both were very impressed with the care we received. The check in was smooth and quick. Their equipment was top of the line. The doctors and nurses were all extremely professional and quick to respond to our needs. There is a student nurse named Kelsey that provided great care to both of us. I want to mention her especially because she was so genuine. We are so thankful for everyone involved in our recovery.

Visited ER and it was not a good experience. Inefficient, rude and ER dr didn’t identify herself as dr when she came in my room. My husband was not allowed back in my room for about 45 minutes and the house phone for help went unanswered for over 15 minutes. Being in ER is a stressful time for family and patients. Nurse told me she would get him but staff was too busy welcoming someone back to work. Blood was drawn and sat so long it clotted and had to be drawn again. IV port had not been used and nurse wouldn’t use it; it was drawn directly from arm. Dr was very condescending. Third time to visit their ER with family and/or friends. Same inefficiency by staff each time.

Horrible place to come been waiting for 4 hours with a 2 year old with fever took them 1 hour and 45 min to even get them to check his temp and check in ! If you are in need immediate help do not come here or you will be going to your love ones funeral !! Better chances going to a vets office no joke very serious about this review !!! The doctor seen my kid for five min worst hospital I have ever been tooooo this place really should be shut down ! Medical board needs to really look into how things are done around here . I am sitting here and couple had there daughter in here with a broke arm and there son was here two years ago and lost his testical because the doctors sent him home without properly checking over him .

Dr. Forrest is wonderful, but his nurse, and office staff are horrible. I have waited 3 months for test results, although his nurse told me that she would send them to me. I am still waiting on that mail, 2 months later. If you can get past the office staff, and the nurse, you will have a great visit with Dr. Forrest.
