feedback about Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital
Had surgery . Very kind, attentive , explained everything in a way my husband and I could understand. Felt safe and just in good hands my nurses are amazing and my dr (dr Long) plus the surgeon and other doc. I have anxiety and am not easy to deal with and not easy get me to see any doctor. I'm glad I did and Dr. Long and his staff are amazing. In not scared to see a doctor for once in my life. So
DR.LONG and staff in his office and staff at the hospital ive had pleasure of meeting . Holly
Change ur Coffee, and I did not see a Doctor , just nurses, there busy and over worked. Ya what is it with the saline solution, has it turned to gold and I don't know that. Got one bag they said they would hang another one, never did. Just get it together.
Way overbooked. Stuck in a waiting room with a newborn screaming an hour past our appointment because their registration was too busy. They are all rude and treat you like an inconvenience to them. Then we get different directions from 3 different nurses on what we are supposed to feed our newborn before his operation. I would suggest going to a different hospital where you will actually get the care you deserve.
Care minimal. Son came in with severe back and leg pain. Was put in room did a few tests . Said he was dehydrated , but nothing to hydrate him. Pumped him full of pain killers and sent him home , said to see primary doctor. I sat with him for almost two hours and no doctor just nurses. On his 3rd time in one week he had emergency surgery on two disks in T.C. Cadillac has no back surgeons?
Absolutely worst ER. Came in for a allergic reaction and waited for close to a hour before a Dr. finally came in. I sat and watched the nursing staff talking and laughing at the nursing station and getting ice water or whatever they were drinking. The ER Dr. gave me a oral steroid and ONE Benadryl.I was left alone and not checked on for close to 3 hrs. Then was given a medication on my allergy list which led to further treatment and delays. My IV needle was twisted upside-down, I called for my nurse 3 time's and he NEVER came in to check on me one time. I ended up with a hematoma needing further ER treatment a day or so later. My advice: if you're dying go straight to Traverse City Munson Hospital ER before Munson Hospital ER in Cadillac has a chance to kill you first.
