My son has uncontrolled diabetis and spent time at this hospital. They are the best nurses ever. Very caring and take the time to explain whats going on. The doctors are great too. Hands down one of the best
I don't understand why it takes 3 hours to get a prescription ready for someone. And when you ask the girls are rude and roll there eyes. Real professional oak valley. This isn't the first HORRIBLE experience I've had here.
I have never been to a hospital that was so slow. I've had ultrasounds at Kaiser for other health reasons and have been very well taken care of and in and out in less than an hour. Not here, we were there for 3 or 4 hours and 90% of that was just waiting. I went in and they gave me a huge container of water to drink (needed it for the ultrasound, I don't know why they didn't explain) and said they would be back in 30 minutes. Almost 2 hours pass without anyone coming in to check on us or anything. We just sat in a hot room, me desperately needing to pee and my boyfriend leaning against a wall (they didn't have any chairs, there was no one around we could ask and when they finally did bring one we were about 20 minutes away from leaving) I was there because I was having a lot of discomfort and cramping and because this is my first pregnancy I was a bit worried. Although the staff was friendly, apparently I was lucky considering all the other reviews, when I told them I just wanted to be sure everything was alright they just kept telling me something along the lines of "if it's dead there's nothing we can do" in a tone like they were talking to a child. I was tired, had an uncomfortably full bladder and frustrated from having to wait so long so I'm not sure if I was being overly sensitive but I was getting irritated, yea I know there's nothing you can do, I just want to make sure it's okay and I'm not getting attached to a Dead baby.
So two stars, I would have given just one but considering past experiences the staff was a lot friendlier than usual.
Never been to hospital with such rude nurses and doctors(Trust me, I’ve been to a few). Doctor cracked an insensitive joke, and the nurse rolled her eyes at me, looked at me like I was stupid when I asked a question, then raised her voice, in an extremely rude manner at me, when I could not hear her. They did not communicate well with each other and made their jobs harder than they are. Don’t get me wrong, I have full respect for nurses and doctors, but this hospital has misdiagnosed me in a situation that I was way more sick than they said I was, and they are not that thorough when checking your previous medical history. The only person who was doing their job quickly and being nice while doing it was the nice man who took my xrays.
Waiting in the lobby for over 2 hours and there's was maybe 4 or 5 other people in there. I got tired of waiting so I walked out. Worst hospital I've been to
