feedback about Pinnacle Hospital
Terrible experience for me. I was sent to Pinnacle by a foot doctor to have an infection treated after cutting my foot. Three different doctors came in to look at my foot over the 2 days I was there. All three of them asked me when did I have my foot surgery (I didn't have foot surgery). The lady who gave me my MRI complained the entire 1.5 hours about how old the MRI machine was. They asked me to have a family member bring in my blood pressure medicine because they didn't have any (lol). Finally, I was sent home with ZERO instructions on how to treat my wound. Three different prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy so I called to ask them if I was supposed to be taking all three prescriptions. There answer was NO, we didn't realize that three different doctors sent three different prescriptions. I then found out that I had a follow up appointment later that week when they called me to tell me I as a no show to the appointment THAT NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Had a hip replacement on the 5th, released on the 6th. The staff did everything they could to make me comfortable. Very happy with my stay.
Ok I go into ER for maybe my should being out of socket. Ended up being a cyst. Anyway they charged me $75.00 for the ER visit and another $40.00 for the xray of my shoulder. They recommend an orthopedic surgeon. 3 weeks later I get a bill from another company called Radiologic Associates of Northwest Indiana, PC for $39.00 for the xray. Pinnacle hospital never stated that I would be billed by a separate company for the xray. If I would have known this would happen, then why did Pinnacle hospital charge me for a service that they do not perform themselves? Go here if you want to be ripped off. Until then I have an attorney that says I have a case against the hospital for charging me for a service that they do not perform themselves, and for not letting me know of hidden fees.
Had a horrible experience, they don’t care. My mother had surgery on Wednesday and got discharged that Friday, and the next morning her wound started bleeding real bad. I had called Pinnacle to see what I need to do because they had told me not to remove her bandages for 5 days. Instead of giving me proper answers and advice I was told “it’s nothing we can do since she got discharged”. That was very unprofessional I wasn’t asking to bring her back or them to come get her. I wouldn’t recommend Pinnacle to anybody they just there to collect a check
Not once, but twice they screwed up our appointments . They called and said come on a certain date and time then couldn't find the appointment when we arrived. Tried to blame the doctor's office. We will never go to Pinnacle again!
