So impressed with the professionalism at this small community hospital. Everyone is of the highest standards. As a retired ICU/ER nurse I was very happy with the care my mother received here.

I understand the nature of this business, however, some improvements are overly due and very much needed. You should learn to be more kind and not cut a lady off mid sentence several times as if I am bothering you. I prefer to be fully listened to as so there won't be something looked over or misunderstood. I find this to be a common occurrence. I feel more compassion and respect from Salem.

Thank you Lebanon Samaritan for sending my Father home with out even a referral to another hospital, he almost died! Luckily he went to Corvallis Samaritan hospital where they discovered he had pneumonia and a blood clot in his lung. He also had MRSA in his blood and required surgery. My Dad is on Medicaid now but was an engineer for BP for over 30 years. He is very well educated and is obviously very loved. He chooses to live in that area for reasons I don’t understand but is it your practice to treat everyone as if they don’t matter? This is not my first experience like this with your facility. I realize maybe you judge by appearance but isn’t your goal to care for everyone to the best of your abilities? My Dad worked hard all his life and survived esophageal cancer recently so his appearance isn’t as great as it used to be but that is no excuse to treat him like he doesn’t matter!!! Very disappointed that your staff, possibly not all but a majority has lost their compassion for people.

People should be aware that this facility is a critical access hospital only, and has almost no specialty care available - no cardiac, no orthopedic (occasionally), no gastro, no neonatal, no pediatrics, really no anything. Samaritan has moved all of its specialty care (and almost every bed) to the the regional medical center in Corvallis. If you require care beyond this facility's limited scope, they will send you to another facility. And while the care staff is generally very good, they do have frequent turn over.

they are still the same as back in 2008 they were never changed probably never will. The assist nurse of course poked me on a vein that has been never been poked at of course she didn't use it but i got a bruise from it. But overall they kept on laughing (Laughing about what?!?) like seriously i hear them sometimes talking about other people. Unprofessional for sure.
