Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital

My mother had a knee replacement done there by Dr Peter Looby. He was the best Doctor I have experienced in a long time. The ENTIRE staff at SFSH was absolutely amazing from the Valet, to the receptionist to the Nurses. EVERYONE was great. I felt at complete ease leaving my mother there to get food. I would recommend this location, and doctor to anyone whom needs Orthopedic help. Dr Looby was my mother second opinion on her knee as the 1st dr advised her she should be 70+ of age (she is 58) before getting this surgery. She is recovering great and is very excited to meet with the doctor again for her follow up! THANK YOU DR LOOBY AND SFSH!

Surgery check in was 530 am. Vallet service provided which is great with a 7 year old and a bag, and it being -12 degrees! Great receptionist and registration! Everyone had a smile and happy attitude for 520 am! So far so good!

I had a procedure here about a year ago and forgot to plug in my review...so here goes... In a nutshell, they were awesome! Everyone was smiling and seemed to genuinely care about me and my comfort. When I walked into the OR, both the nurses stopped what they were doing, faced me, and greeted me. That made me feel safe. They also respected my privacy. This is a top notch facility! Highly recommend!!

Nice staff and valet parking

Excellent care with the latest in medical science and technology. Kind, cheerful professionals. Large staff so you only have to wait a short time before your signal is answered and someone is always keeping an eye on your progress. First rate food. Very nice room. Lots of perks for family and friends. Connected by hallway to the Center Inn, which is a great combination but the hospital also has valet parking. No negatives unless it's that I had to travel four hours to get there.
