Seen PA Jenna Locaputo on 2-4-19. Was way too much in a hurry and have seen her in the past, was not pleasant. Will never go to this urgent care again the worse experience ever. And top it off my grandson goes there and goes to his primary and said total different what he has. and people I know they will never go back there again because of her.
I only go here for blood work since it is convenient. I have never, not once, had a friendly phlebotomist. I sign in, go to sit and hear “Come in”. She never got up or moved her face from the computer screen. I walked in and said “hi how’re you doing”. Nothing. No response at all. Didn’t say hello, good morning, have a seat..... nothing. Mumbled to me to make a fist and mumbled again to release it. That’s as much as I got from her. Then, without a word, just handed me a cup for a urine sample. When I was done, she did say bye.
WOW. That’s all I can say. I’ve worked as a Dental Hygienist for 30 years, working with severely phobic people. If I EVER treated a patient like that, I would have been fired on the spot! What are people phobic of besides the dentist??? A phlebotomist....... that’s what. I don’t want your life story, just a simple “Hi, how are you” with a smile to relax the person you’re about to jab with a needle would be nice. You people don’t have much in the way of hiring skills!!!!
Urgent care here is a joke! The place can be almost completely empty and they have you wait in a patient room for an hour and 20 minutes for something that should take maybe 15 minutes to diagnose and call a script in. They are severely understaffed and the staff they do have are incompetent and outright unpleasant. There have been instances where they have even misdiagnosed my children's illnesses causing them to suffer longer and become even sicker! I will never bring my children to this urgent care again. Any other place is better!!!!
Had to go in for blood work, and I thought the phlebotomist could of been a bit friendlier. If you have a job working with the public, you should have an outgoing FRIENDLY personality. Next time I have to have blood work, I'll find someplace else to go.
Well I was referred to St Mary’s by my primary care physician, and honestly I’ll never come back. I went in for blood work upstairs in hematology, Dr Namrata Patel is a great doctor and easy to be personable with. Deb the secretary is a Gem!!! She’s awesome and honestly would only come back for her and the doctor. Where I was blown away was downstairs in admitting. Karen has no people skills, was snappy and very rude the first time I was there. Honestly this turned me off and doesn’t make me want to come back to St Mary’s again. anyhow I’m back for an ultrasound and I get Karen again...sigh. I said I was in for an appointment and she said sorry no walk in’s multiple times and I said well I have a script faxed to you from Upstairs and that I did have an appointment. So snappy and argumentatively grabs the phone like it’s bothering her to make a call to see if the script is here. Look lady if you don’t like helping people then leave this profession. I was turned off the first time and today too, makes you not even want to come here. Other than being seen right away and their availability being open I wouldn’t come back. Deb in hematology 2nd floor and Dr namrata Patel, you are awesome keep up the good work you made my day better after seeing Karen V. And Karen, be nice seriously doesn’t cost much!!!
