Had to go in for blood work, and I thought the phlebotomist could of been a bit friendlier. If you have a job working with the public, you should have an outgoing FRIENDLY personality. Next time I have to have blood work, I'll find someplace else to go.

Whom ever is answering phones in your rehabilitation ward today may need a lunch break or a new job. She was beyond rude while being asked simple questions.. A little compassion maybe the key. Very disappointing...

Went to the ER in the evening on a weekend for a torn ligament in my ankle from falling down a staircase. I was in and out super quickly and everyone was very helpful and didn't make me feel rushed through the process. I got some quick x-rays and an exam. The PA on duty sent me home with a wrap, brace, icing directions, and follow-up information at OrthoNY. The hospital itself was wonderful even though St. Peter's Health Partners administration is an absolutely nightmare to work with.

As an urgent care...

DO NOT GO HERE. Seriously, any option in the area is a better choice. My mom had sharp knee pain today, enough to the point where my sister and I had to basically carry her in the house. She was crying, before, during, and after visiting this trash hole. She was seen by Duncan-Bornt "NP", who saw her for a whole 3-4 minutes, as she was rushing my mom. Let me be clear, there was no one in the waiting room, and it was quiet as ever in the general inpatient area. My mom couldn't even describe her history with her knees before the uneducated "NP" kept cutting her off and making constant assumptions. The same goes for the nurse who's initials are "TP", ironically enough. Ended up prescribing ibuprofen and a knee immobilizer. Refused any kind of radiology or to attempt to diagnose further. Also, no one wanted to help her out with the wheelchair they gave to her on the way out. She was just left in the room in the wheelchair. Security called for help, but that was taking too long. The only helpful person today was the woman at the front desk who wheelchaired my mom inside. At the very least, we know to never go here for anything again. Waste of time, waste of insurance. Don't go here.

I'm going to edit and add the opinion of a more reputable healthcare facility after she's done there.

I love St. Mary's Hospital! It is close to home and I always have a positive experience when I go there (and I have been in various units of the hospital.) I went in for a lumbar puncture and the doctor who performed the procedure was absolutely wonderful. He was funny, tried his best to ease my nerves and was successful! Post procedure staff was also kind and accommodating while having to stay in the hospital for 3 hours after the procedure. This was a particularly pleasant experience I will always remember! This will always be my hospital of choice!
