Worst hospital experience ever. Horrible doctors and horrible nurses. My friend had a seizure and was unconscious when she was bought in by the ambulance, the doctors tried to say she was faking being unconscious and faking her seizure. The nurse was helpful in the beginning but then got angry because she couldn’t find a vein to draw blood so she stuck the needle in and moved it all around until blood came out. The doctor was so nonchalant and cocky about the entire situation claiming she was awake later a doctor tried to claim my friend was doing drugs and that’s why she had a seizure. He kept talking down to me and my other friend who was there. She had another seizure in triage and when another friend yelled for a doctor to come help they threatened to kick all of us out. Security then kept their eyes on us the entire time we were waiting. Get rid of the staff here and train them, they are rude and take a long time to do anything. The fact that this hospital is still up and running is shocking to me. If you want to be treated well DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!

If I could give negative stars I would. From the moment we got to the ER by ambulance it was a waiting game. Now I understand that the ER is a slow process. However, when you have the admission people take your info to be placed in intensive care and it is 2 1/2 hours later and no one has checked on your mom and you stop a nurse. The response was...Oh I thought she had already been moved. Really?? So you have not seen us in this room sitting? And what’s even scarier is what if I wasn’t the person that was supposed to have been moved???no one checking for that length of time. The intensive care nurses were AMAZING, but there is some serious room for the ER to make improvements

The staff focuses more on the patient being a person who is addicted to drugs or is maybe using drugs. More then the actual chief complaint. St. Vincent anderson needs to be more caring & to listen to the patients reasons for being there. Instead of there assumptions of the patient being under the influence of anything.

The critical care unit is one of the best we have had to use. We were here several years ago as a transfer from St V in Fishers and choose to come back here when we needed hospital care now. Our ER experience not to good here but the critical care unit is very good. Very good nurses and respitory therapist and doctors on this unit.
