feedback about Teton Valley Hospital
I went in because of a head injury and got two staples put in, but the best part was that she completely missed the wound by about an inch, TWICE. Had to take them out myself because they were bugging the hell out of me. I highly reccomend this place 👍🏻
Great staff and terrific medical care. We had to make two different trips to ER during a family reunion but with their care we were still able to enjoy the remaining days. Thank you
Went in after an ATV accident, and received 0 care from the most dismissive, rude, and unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered in a hospital.
I’ve come to find out after 4 years that I have damage to my Ulner nerve in my hand, and a herniated/ruptured disk in my lower back causing debilitating sciatic pain.
I was thrown out without a single test done, and told to take Motrin, before the doctor went back to kicking his feet up in the office.
I also brought in my wife, when she suddenly was unable to breath. I ran to a nurse explaining it was an emergency, and was told to wait in line as my wife struggled for air. It wasn’t until finally I demanded they get off their asses and do something, that they put her in a room. The nurse gave her a steroid shot that was unnecessarily rough and was more akin to a stabbing and she hurt for a week after.
This hospital is a joke and if you’re hurt or need medical treatment, go ANYWHERE ELSE.
I had a skiing accident and twisted my knee pretty bad (turns out I tour my ACL but at the time, I didn't know that). I showed up without an appointment and everyone could not have been nicer. I was in and out with x-rays in 1.5 hours. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm from Florida and only wish we all had the same welcoming and helpful attitude as the Teton Valley Health Care folks. Thank you.
After being diagnosed for a minor surgery I requested a written cost estimate. Medicare has standard payment schedule with a 20% co-pay. Surgeon claimed to have no idea how much it would cost. After three requests the hospital billing department produced a unsigned pink post-it with 19,500 on it. St. Johns Hospital in Jackson WY and Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls provided actual, signed estimated cost breakdowns with individual procedures broken out. Both were under $5,000 total..
Actual operation in Idaho Falls took 30 minutes, and I walked away and drove home the next morning.
If it looks like an attempt to fraudulently overcharge it probably is. Beware.
