feedback about Trustpoint Hospital of Lubbock
I am not surprised at all to see a 3.3 star review of this place. What a horrible place to entrust to care for our family member. We always found him laying in his urine and feces with a dried ring on the incontinent pad. When brought to the attention of the charge Nurse there was always some excuse. Family should never have to be responsible for cleaning their loved one up themselves while in a facility, thank goodness we knew how. We attempted to contact the administrator, he was never available and did not return our messages/calls, his assistant intercepts his calls, go figure. Each time we visited our family member he had dried feces on his skin and his brief was saturated and he began to have some skin breakdown. The room was always dirty (which could be overlooked, not a huge deal.....well safety wise for a fall risk patient could have been a fall hazard) We attempted to get him into another reputable facility after doing some research, his insurance would not cover him to transfer somewhere else. I could go on and on about the sub-standard care our family member received, not to mention delay in care, I will quit now and just warn people please beware of the positive reviews that you read here, there is no way this place deserves a one star rating!!! As a Nurse myself I am very disgusted and have a heavy heart knowing how my family member was cared for and treated. Never again Trustpoint, shame on you. An embarrassment to say the least!
Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to rehabilitation. They are dedicated to getting you back on your feet and able to go home. I would highly recommend Trustpoint if you are in need of rehab.
The rudest and most incompetent detail of nurses I’ve ever encountered. Please stay far away.
Review will be updated with specifics and complaint filed with proper management.
To be honest I was a little afraid because of all of the facilities I have experienced with my mother and that I have worked in but when I heard the name Walcott I was in instant relief because his brother Randy took care of my mother for years and i know the standard of care first hand that the Walcotts stand by and I have to say I was not disappointed every morning he was there in my room to check on my progress and the nursing staff down to the dietary staff all the way to the housekeepers we're ready and willing to help me with my every need the therapy was tough desirae and Lacey I'm sorry if I spelled your names wrong they worked very hard with me and as did all of the therapist I didn't think I was going to be able to walk again although I have a very long journey ahead of me I want to give a big thanks to the trust point family because it is just that a family and that's how they treat you like family thank you Trust point
Trustpoint, funny name. Some advice for the wise, don't trust them to care for your loved ones with any compassion at all. In just one week I have seen multiple many red flags it scares me knowing my father is sleeping there tonight. I believe the entire facility has lost the vision that the Wolcott family had when they opened. My family feels so helpless because this is the only facility of its kind in Lubbock. To top it all off yesterday my father was injured due to the total lack of knowledge and compassion by staff, he is back at the hospital for to get an MRI for possible broken vertebra.
