feedback about Tyler Memorial Hospital
Staff is wonderful, they know their jobs! Always have been treated with compassion.
Terrible ER staff. Take their time walking around and no sense of emergency. Oh and you're better off driving to another hospital with an infant because lab is operated by sloths who couldn't pump out a rsv result in a timely manner if their life depended on it. The employees really just don't care.
If I was in a accident right in front of this hospital I would ask the E.M.T to take me to another hospital because I would have a better chance at getting the proper care. I do hope to hear down the line better things about this hospital my review is 1 star if I could I would give a negative. I think the staff don't like there jobs they just because they hate there job they can at least fake being nice. When you go to the hospital in pain the last thing you need is a rude staff. So those who have no choose to go to this hospital I will pray for you .
The guy I work with just about cut his finger off while we were working, and the nearest place was Tyler, so we rushed over to the ER there. We get in there, his hand crudely wrapped to slow the blood loss and what do they do?? NOTHING. WE HAD TO SIT THERE FOR 15 MINUTES TO BE WAITED ON AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO HAVE HIM SIGN THE WAIVERS WHILE HE WAS GOING IN TO SHOCK. This hospital feels like a complete joke. If there is a closer place you can go to in an emergancy, I advise choosing it over this one.
I am shocked by the lack of professionalism in emergency room. Everyone we came across was rude and lackadaisical. I would not recommend coming to this hospital for care. I will be following up my post with contacting directors of staff, administrators and CEO's. This hospital staff needs to be completely restructured and more than half the RNs need to be fired! As for the treating Dr. I can't even comment due to seeing him for a total of 5 mins durning our time in emergency room.
