I got my lab work done here. Found a new place that is quicker.
I would not send my worst enemy to these butchers. Some of the most unprofessional and undereducated so called medical " professionals " I have ever encountered. Misdiagnosed orvermedicated and when asked to transfer the patient to a specific hospital they obliged and sent the patient to a completely different (than the requested) facility without informing anyone. ZERO STARS
Was having a heart attack. They told me I was fine. Thank God for second Opinions.
A lot of the staff is unprofessional and rude, patients are often rude and complaining, bad atmosphere for a hospital. However, I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff that was doing procedures or anything like that.
If I could give negatives as a review in stars I absolutely would! I went in because my doctor had switched my meds to a different kind and I was having some kind of reaction to it. The secretary at the front desk in E.R. was very kind, and saw right away the hives and red blotches all over me. I explained to her that I felt like I couldn't take deep enough breaths and that I was feeling kind of sick. She asked if I was in contact with anything I was allergic to, and I told her about the meds being switched. She said I looked like I was having a reaction, let her know if my breathing got worse and so forth. So far so good.
Well, an hour and a half later they take me back, and the first nurse I saw was awful. I didn't catch her name, but she insisted that the hives and blotches were simply sunburn and scratches. She took my blood pressure, which was a little low, but she had no concern for that what so ever. I was getting frustrated because I'm itching like crazy, and have lovely burning hives all over me and "she can't see it." So, she leaves my room and pulls the curtain, and I can hear her talking with the other nurses saying "she's such a liar there isn't a thing wrong with her. Why do people like that waste our time." and a few mumbles that I couldn't catch. Which, in my opinion was extremely unprofessional. I could understand if I went in asking for drugs or something but it wasn't like that! I just wanted to know what was going on with my body!
Anyways, 25 minutes later another nurse comes in and asks if Im having any breathing problems and asks me to point out the areas that were affected; I told her I felt like I couldn't take deep enough breaths, and showed her my arms, legs, chest, back & neck. She says "Okay let me see what we can do to get you out of here." Doesn't check me or anything, and leaves.
A male nurse comes in 10 minutes later, hands me a prescription for steroids, tells me it's a mild rash, and that we can go. I was kind of in awe at the whole situation because they didn't give a damn about what was going on and treated me like I was nothing but a bother to them.
I will NEVER go to this hospital again. I don't care if I'm dying and it's the only hospital open within 100 miles, I will not go back. I see that my visit was a bit more pleasant compared to some others due to reviews. I was treated with zero respect. The lack of competence at this hospital along with the unprofessional nurse's is just appalling. I don't understand how you can be in a position to help people and treat them with such arrogance. Do yourself a favor and just go to another hospital.
