Insanely surprised at how wonderful this ER experience has been. The environment was intimate, peaceful, and comforting— no loud overcrowded huge waiting room. The process went by so quickly and you could feel the love the staff had for their job, coworkers, and helping people (which can be hard to show when your job is so stressful). The staff also worked so hard to honor they/them pronouns, with no prompt. Came in specifically to let us know they were all trying their best but are still learning and apologize if they slip up. Hopefully we don’t have anymore emergencies, but if we do it’s nice to know we have such a great place to turn.

Slow service and nurses are not nice. Rooms suck with small bed and horrible service to comfort patient. Nothing compares to Dominican hospital all the staff was amazing and very helpful. Don’t recommend Watsonville hospital for baby delivery at all . Only reason I came here was because my OB doctors office is in Watsonville and wanted her to be the one to deliver my baby.

I think it's nice. My mom and I were born here and also my two cousins.

Wouldn't give this hospital a star. Worse doctors in the E.R they need new ones. They tried to discharge my niece when she had a appendicitis. Same thing happen to me growing up they had me transfer to Standford And by that time it had ruptured. It took my mom and my sister to get them to do more test on my niece. I'm sorry to say but I hate this place I'm 28 years old and I still get scared going into this place I know hates a strong word and no one should hate anything but this place is something else

I've been very involved with the elder Care of my parents for 6 years. We' ve been through strokes and rehabs and heart issuesissu many other issues. Some of the rehab took many months of hospitalization. I have never ever had any problems with any nurses until we came to Watsonville Community Hospital. In fact we did not choose to come here but the Dominican emergency room was full. Unfortunately, we have had two very rough female nurses who were impatient, Clearly mean and they hurt my mom. One put a bed pan down backwards! They bullied her when a family member was not in the room. Said not to push the button they can't keep coming. She was in for a bladder infection and they objected to getting her a bed pan! My mom felt humiliated and said no one has ever treated her like that in her life. She didn't want to eat her dinner because she felt so depressed about being hurt. I'm currently looking into transferring her to another hospital. She is a paying customer with great insurance. This is not a good experience. Stay away if you can.
