However, individuals’ Social Security numbers were not involved in the incident.

The Sargent’s Group took immediate steps to address the incident, including notifying potentially impacted individuals and providing resources to assist them in protecting their information. Notification letters began being mailed to affected individuals on August 12, 2022. To prevent future incidents, The Sargent’s Group has added several layers of protection to its environment and established a toll-free call center to answer questions and address concerns related to the incident. The company emphasizes that the privacy and protection of personal information are top priorities and regrets any inconvenience or concern the incident may cause[1].
