What is PainCareOS?
PainCareOS by HealthOS is a cloud-based practice management solution for healthcare professionals that provides pain management care and services. Practices of any size can use the solution. It is appropriate for a range of specialties, from general practitioners to sports medicine physicians.
This solution can be implemented whether or not a practice already has an electronic health record (EHR) system in place. It includes scheduling, patient engagement and reporting functionalities.
The patient scheduling application, called Scheduler, enables receptionists to verify insurance coverage for patients in real time to check their eligibility, benefits and co-payment information.
Once a patient arrives for their appointment, they can fill out a questionnaire generated by PainCareOS to describe and assess their symptoms. PainCareOS is also capable of generating Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and core measures reports to evaluate health outcomes in the patient population and satisfy regulatory reporting requirements.
