Rude people who work there. Worst hospital. Should get mostly all new workers with how rude they are. Where you go to pick up records - a bunch of dimwits. I see why this hospital can’t even get to 4 stars. A hospital should have 4-5 stars. Don’t EVER GO HERE! Avoid this hospital at all COST! You would think with all these bad reviews and how the entire town talks about how bad they are they would make a change. It’ll catch up to them eventually.
This is the absolute worst hospital ever. My wife went undiagnosed for 5 years with a major issue that required surgery to correct. You'll be treated by unexperianced residents that are in their first few years of practice. They are absolutely not concerned with the patient, only making a mistake in front of their superiors. After requesting the notes from her visits for her surgeon, we realized that her treatment there bordered on malpractice. Please find yourself a more experienced medical staff for anything other than a checkup.
The emergency room visit alone is $2000, this hospital is a complete ripoff! I have great insurance ($20,000 out of the paycheck per year insurance) and was still left with a $750.00 co-pay.
Go to another hospital!! And start asking your politicians about socialized medicine.
My father who is black was brought here through a nursing home facility & it's true they don't seem to know what they're doing. They do lie. My father had cancer & they told me they just wanted to make him comfortable. They claim they didn't get enough medical records from the last hospital he was in. What about giving him his cancer treatments? What about giving him blood transfusions? Then they kept him in there too long like that for at least over a whole month like they were just trying to make money off of him but declared him discharged almost two weeks earlier than he actually was. Meanwhile he was wearing a colostomy bag & a stomach feeding tube drawing his body up stiff into a fetal position just suffering. I couldn't get in direct contact with the administrator without other procedures to follow. Like speaking to the patient advocate first who doesn't answer calls. Then they deliberately had him sent to a nursing home of their choosing not the family's choice based supposedly on his medical insurance but so happen to hook him up with a really bad doctor name Dr. Iyenger that had already caused my mother to die just months earlier before in a different nursing home facility located in a south suburban location.
would give 0 if I could. worst hospital I have ever experienced. the workers are terrible.
