We were in town on our anniversary trip and had to make a visit to the ER on Saturday 9/22 due to a fall my husband had. We explained what all happened and what was wrong with him. All they did was an X-ray of his toe and touched his back and said that he was okay. When the doctor was examining his toe he said “well I don’t see any open wounds “. I told there is one and I pointed at it. He said well it looks like it is healing. Well he was in pain all the way until Tuesday 9/24. When we arrived home I ended up taking him to our usual hospital that he goes to. To find out he had two fractures in his back. Also since he had a cut on his and he is diabetic. They should have gave him antibiotics, especially since he has had 2 toe amputations before. His toe was already looking bright red due to the injury. We explained all that to the treating doctor here, and they were surprised about the treatment he received at Good Samaritan. I do not recommend this hospital at all!

MAMMOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR THESE VERY IMPORTANT TESTS! REGISTRATION HAD MY ORDERS WRONG AND HAD ME SCHEDULED FOR SOMETHING OTHER THEN WHAT THE DOCTOR HAD ORDERED. THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED WITH NEW STAFF AND NEW PROCESSES.

Good Sam was a beautiful place - until Obamacare. Good Sam was charitable to homeless people like me in the past. They provided amazing kindness, generosity, and best of all - GREAT food! The last time I was at Good Sam, I was withheld a doctor, mocked by nurses, and fed prison chow. That was 2 years ago, but things don't get better with age.
