Bacon County Hospital

I have been coming to Bacon County Hospital for several years with no complaints. That being the very reason I drive from Blackshear to Alma if we need to go to the hospital. Last night I happened to have my two year old little girl up there sick with the flu. The nurse that worked triage was VERY impatient with my little girl. She was slinging pens because Sophia wouldn't stand on the scale and was being a NORMAL SICK two year old. The wait time was about 3 hours with nearly no one but us up there. They gave Sophia NO medicine what so ever, never explained anything about the flu to me or anything. (I have never had the flu). Sad to say but from now on it looks like Jesup will be where we go if we don't go to Brunswick. I'm extremely disappointed.

I received services on 10/14/18 at able 9 pm. Nichelle Morgan LPN, Victoria Drury LPN, Cristy Mercer LPN and Dr. Wiley Wilson provided great care. They addressed all my health issues. They discharged me with the necessary educational information regarding my headache and high blood pressure and recommended that I see my primary physician as soon as possible. As well as the possible need for me to get a blood pressure cuff to keep a daily check on my blood pressure. The discharge paperwork assisted me with my follow up appointment. Dr. Wilson took additional time to discuss my health issues with my fiance which I am grateful for. The room I was placed in was clean and comfortable. I liked having a private bathroom. I did not get the young lady's name that assisted with the check in process which was done efficiently and painlessly. The security guard immediately assisted me with the necessary directions when I entered the ER. I am from Ware County and feel that the few extra miles to hospital was worth it. I would recommend my friends and family to your facility. Again, I am grateful for the excellent care that I received. Thank you.
