I am here in 3B oncology / medical surgery unit and staff has been fabulous!!!! They are curious, informative and motivating but most of all caring about my needs. I am very happy with this hospital. Now I haven't dealt with the billing / finance department yet but I'm sure they will be just as kind Great job Banner Thunderbird you hire good people !!!!!

If I could rate this place s Zero I would. The worst experience by far. Luckily this isn't the hospital that "I" have to go to. Sitting here with my client and have been waiting 6 hours for lab results that should have only taken 60 minutes. The nurses left the room a mess, and had no ideal how take blood from my client. It took three nurses to take blood from my client. I've had much better experiences at Banner Estrella. I hope I never have to come to this trashy hospital ever again!!!

These people are liars, plain and simple. The staff is unprofessional on the floor but the worst part is their billing department. At no point in my dealings with this department did they ever tell the truth. We were charged for services never rendered and when we requested an audit of the bill they simply sat on it for two months and then sent the bill to collections. We requested the contact info for the board of directors and we're advised banner does not have a board of directors which a quick Google search shows is a lie. The next step is working with a lawyer as well as the state of Arizona. Whenever dealing with these people especially if they are attempting to defraud you and your insurance make sure to get names.

Went to Ob Triage 12/14 around 12p to get checked out, Tech sitting at desk did not bother looking up and rudely asked what I was there for. She made me feel very unwelcome and as though I was an inconvenience. I completed my registration and was told to wait for the tech to room me, waiting was not the issue, the fact that my husband and I just stood in the middle of the hall without her acknowledging us (again, just staring down) until she was done with whatever she was doing is . A little communication goes a long way, something she should definitely work on. The nurse I had, I believe her name was Jodie, was very thorough and helpful. She made me feel at ease and let me know what was going.

If I could write a NEGATIVE 10 I would. This hospital is one of the worst I've ever dealt with. They are half fast, make opinions about you and your loved ones based on a past history. They treat everyone like a number. Theirs no compassion in this hospital. They will tell a patient or an advocate one thing and do the complete opposite. They will twist the truth to their favor I watched them do it to my brother and to my other brother. Neglect of care killed my mom at 44, but they felt they did no wrong then, but caused her more pain and suffering than she deserved. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone ever!!
