2 days ago I was admitted for back surgery. From the moment I walked in the door I was handled with the greatest care. From the nurses in the same day surgery area to my recovery nurses they were all great and had amazing bedside manners. Once out of recovery I was transferred to 2 West and the night nurse Laura and the night tech Reggie were simply amazing. They both went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. In the morning Laura personally handed me over to Caroline another nurse whom was just as great as Laura. The morning after my surgery I had the pleasure of meeting the Patient Advocate Mark whom is funny and very sociable. He came talked with me for a while, he seemed genuinely interested in how I was doing and what if anything the hospital could do to make my stay better? My answer absolutely nothing, I was being well cared for by every nurse, tech and aide even if the were not assigned directly to me. The Bayshore from 3 years ago when my mom was here till now is much improved. The entire hospital is immaculate and I had the pleasure of meeting members of the kitchen staff who personally come and take your meal orders and prepared everything just how I asked.

My mother in law was admitted into Bayshore 2 weeks ago, she is now back home. I'm not one to usually do reviews. But I needed to share and wanted my voice heard. As we were visiting her this gentleman walk in and introduced himself as Mark Morrison. I can't believe and have never came across a caring and very dedicated young man that was there for my mother in law and our family. I have yet to meet someone who went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed and could use. He even went as far as introducing us to all the nurses on 3 east and other medical staff that would be able to assist in my mother in laws stay and recovery. I hope the hospital realizes this gentleman is a very huge asset to the hospital. Years ago it was never like this, no one ever checked in on the patient like he does. I would definitely consider Bayshore in the future need be. As a patient and a family member you need that support and help from the hospital employees.
I thank God for Mark who was there for us and always kept us posted with any medical procedures that she had when we could not be there. When do you ever get this from hospitals?? Never! Once again Thank you Mark Morrison you made a huge difference at Bayshore Hospital!!!!!
Had an absolute comfortable experience, starting from the ER with my nurse Coleen, and pct Coco, patient care rep Dee was amazing to both me and my fiance. My amazing care continued while I was in 3 East. My nurse Lacy is an amazing , caring and compassionate nurse. Not to mention so funny. My last night i had nurse Alex he was great as well. But a definite big shout out to a very sincere, kind and true man Mr. Mark Morrison. Bay shore all around has great staff and great food. What more can you ask for.
I came to the hospital and was admitted to floor 2west. My nurse Susan is very good and helpful , she explained what all of medicine was and why I needed it. Melissa was very sweet and funny. Veronica was helpful when I needed things. A patient advocate named Mark came in to visit and he was AWESOME we had a very good conversation made me crack a couple of smiles. All in all everyone on this floor is very helpful and nice . Thank you!
I cannot say enough great things about my recent surgical experience at Bayshore. My surgical team was incredible, as was the PACU team. Every step of this process and every department I've dealt with made this experience top notch. My Guest Relations Representative, Mark Morrison, was a complete class act and a huge asset to Bayshore.
I also want to mention that I specifically flew in from Florida to have this surgery at Bayshore!
