During my stay five years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Mark Morrison Patient Experience Ambassador. A remarkable human being. A man who made me feel so loved. Just this past week once again I met Mark in the gift shop never thought he would remember me. Mr. Morrison once again warmed my family’s heart with his warmth and compassion. An amazing man and a asset to Bayshore Hospital Family. Thank you you will forever remain in our hearts, thoughts and prayers ✝️

Around 1:00am in the morning I felt severe stomach pain and started to vomit profusely. I thought I had food poisoning and knew I had to go to the ER which I dreaded. I arrived at Bayshore and was greeted with a sense of urgency, warmth and concern. I was taken to the back immediately and was attended to with kindness, compassion and professionalism. I truly thought I was going to be treated like a thing on a factory conveyor belt but wasn't. The nurses and doctors where thorough and instead of taking my word for it as being food poisoning did several test. I found out that I needed my gallbladder removed, yikes!!!!! My experience was exceptional even though I was in pain. I was comforted and truly have never had an ER experience such as this one. The entire team front desk, nurses, doctors, even the young ladies that did my registration and the professionals that did the testing should all be commended. They are all a shining example of how everyone should be treated when going to the ER from beginning to end. Thank you so much for helping this experience to be as pleasant as possible. It's still a mind blowing experience that I share with everyone I know.

I was admitted to 2 West for gall bladder surgery. The staff there was remarkable. The nurses Katrina, Danielle, Joan and Samantha were wonderful and did there best to make me as comfortable as possible. Donti, patient care associate, was great as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Marc Morrison, patient advocate and he was wonderful. He goes out of his way to keep the patients informed, Very friendly and clearly loves his job. Overall I was extremely pleased with the staff and their efforts.

This was the last of my 36 sessions in cardiac rehab. The rehab was great and really got me back into shape and helped control my blood pressure and my blood sugar. The nurses in the cardiac rehab were very friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough about the nurses and feel that they made every session something to look forward to. This experience was outstanding due to the nurses. This experience has got me to join a gym closer to my home to continue these healthy ways.

Every single person on 2 west has been wonderful. Being treated with kindness and respect by all. Having Mark the patient rep visit to check in was a delightful surprise. Even the transport guy was so sweet. They all put my mind at ease. Such kind and caring people. What an amazing hospital experience before and after my surgery. 2 West you rock!!!
