Beaumont Hospital – Farmington Hills

Dr. Christopher Cooley treated my husband in the ER recently. His bedside manner was awesome. He was attentive and professional. He took the time to ensure we understood everything about my husband's diagnosis. Dr. Cooley made my husband's experience a positive one. He even called our home the following day to talk to my husband to see how he was feeling. The whole ER dept staff was really helpful...thanks Beaumont...Farmington Hills !!

My mom was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Farmington on 10-9-19. You must understand that the last time she was taken there, it was not a Beaumont facility, so we weren’t so thrilled about it. We knew that in an emergency you go where EMS takes you. Wow!! The new ED was so nice, clean, and bright. The staff was totally amazing. They were so empathetic, friendly, patient, and thorough. The change in the facility is remarkable.. Kudos! I hope that more people will utilize the hospital in order to see that you’ve made Immense changes and major renovations to enhance the patient experience. We were pleasantly surprised and feel confident in the fact that in an emergency she would be well cared for by Beaumont.

I’m not sure what every area of the hospital is like, but the EMERGENCY department is terrible. I’ve been waiting 3 hours to be taken to the back to see a doc. All they can say is “you’re next”. As if, it makes a difference. They renovated the hospital recently, expanding the emergency room, yet they still hit capacity quick. I will never come here again!!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I most certainly would! This is the WORST hospital I have EVER been to. My mother in law was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer here and while they did ok with her for physical therapy they were absolutely awful when it came to her cancer diagnosis. She saw an oncologist who is just plain mean. All she did was talked to my mother in law very inhumanly and when it was finally decided that she needed to do treatment to help her my mother in law decided that she didn’t want to do anything because of the way she was treating her. She put it in her head that there was nothing they could do for her and now she won’t go see anyone else. My husband is so distraught because of this. Then when she talked to my father in law on the phone she said “do you want your wife to die?” I’m so angry at this! I work for a major hospital system and I believe that patients always come first and you just don’t talk to anyone this way. I’m so MAD! Never again will I let her go here or let anyone I care about go here.

Family had our second child there. BIG mistake. If you truly care about your self or your family DO NOT GO HERE. All they do is try and scare you into getting things to rack up a bill even if you or your child does not need it. Got different information from multiple different doctors. Staff not on one accord. Brought in Social worker to try to scare us when we refused to let them keep taking blood from our child due to their misinformation. If you do need to go here for any reason be careful, record everything, and ask lost of questions!!
