feedback about Belton Regional Medical Center
The lab people are great. They always get my blood drawled on the first try. After having three different cancers , drawing my blood is very hard. Sandy, pre-op nurse is great and makes sure I knew what I need to know and make sure my info was up to date. The check in people are also very kind and nice.
Was checked in quickly. The staff was really nice and listened to my symptoms. The Nurse Practitioner ( I don't remember her name) was very nice and was quick to order tests and treatment. I was able to be discharged quickly and sent home with some medications to help with my vertigo. Turns out my ears don't drain right and caused a sudden onset of vertigo and nausea.
The technician that worked on me, was a great one. Belton Regional is really lucky to have her.
I have been going there since my Dr. Moved there. I can only say great things about Belton Regional Hospital
One thing I’ve noticed about their hospital is that they’re racist. My husband and I went in to the hospital literally a day apart from each other at approximately the same time my husbands white I’m black. They gave me a cup forced me to take a drug test looked at me for about 2 mins and came up with a diagnosis. My husband whose white they never handed him a cup to take a drug test sat with him for 2 hours and he wasn’t even as sick as I was. I’ve noticed this a few times with this hospital. The only reason why I go to it because it’s so close to my home but I will go to a different hospital now. I honestly wanted to see how they treated my husband compared to how they treated me and it was as I aspected they saw a skin color not a sick person.
