My wife passed away on Feb. 4, 2019. She was rushed to BMC (N. Adams) and later to Pittsfield. This was an unexpected emergency. I can not say enough about the service we obtained from the doctors and staff. They are a very professional, concerned and congenial group.
Went to the ER for kidney stones....and got the slowest, worst service I have ever experienced. I sat in the waiting room and sweated, puked and moaned while others came in to the ER for the common cold. Have people lost their minds??? Anyway it took long to get checked in, even once I got a room, the service was slow, I lay there for hours in severe pain and no pain killers were administered....the Dr. seemed aloof and uncaring, the staff seemed hurried and unavailable. The monitors would beep for long periods of time before anyone would check up on them. Overall very unsatisfactory and poor experience! I would drive hours farther for a decent hospital.
Simply the worst hospital I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. Total incompetence at every level. Total lack of regard for the patient or their family. I would bleed to death before I went the their ER.
Hello, I never rate anything though I should! I just wanted to say my most recent experience at BMC ER was awful! A Physicians assistant waited on me, he was condescending, unsympathetic, would listen to nothing I had to say, and was jumping to conclusions and putting words in my mouth!! Received mediocre care, and he was also downplaying my symptoms!! I have serious doubts about ever returning!!
Top quality care. Good food. Caring nursing staff.
