My Husband just had a hip replacement surgery yesterday, and we were both thoroughly impressed with literally all of the staff and the care he was given, from his doctor, to literally everyone. Everything was very clean, organized, and anything we wanted or needed was provided promptly and all with positive cheerful dispositions. Thanks so much to everyone involved in his care! Bravo!

December 15, 2018
My husband had a truck accident and was brought to this facility. He had a concussion, shoulder, and hip injury. I was 3 hours away in Springfield Missouri. When I arrived there was no on at the admittance desk and I looked around to see my husband sitting in a waiting room for me to drive him home. I looked for a wheel chair of which there were none. I was going to bring my car around but there was no place to park my car under the carport area. No nurses and people scattered around everywhere. So, I steadied my husband, because he was dizzy and light headed, and we walked to the car and drove 3 hours home in the rain.
He only remembers bits and pieces of the accident and his brief stay at the Emergency Room. I would of liked to have talked to someone about his condition but no one was to be found. I waited around about 10-15 minutes but my husband wanted to go home.
My husband did tell me that a nurse came in and asked him to sit on the edge of the bed to see how he felt. My husband was very dizzy, the nurse asked him if he could get up, that he would help him get his clothes on and wait in the waiting room for your ride to come because they really needed the bed. So, the nurse helped him get in his clothes and walked him to waiting room where I found him. Nurse Brandon was the only one who seemed to care. It seemed the only thing that they were concerned about was making sure to go through my husband’s wallet to get insurance card to get paid.
I’m sorry but a person with a concussion, loss of memory should not be waiting in the waiting room for someone to take them home. I do not know if he had xrays, MRI, or CT scan. I don’t know what service he received and my husband can’t remember or wasn’t awake enough to know. No staff was there to wheel my husband out to the car, no instructions, no concern if he did make it home.
I’m very disappointed in the health care my husband received at Capital Regional Medical Center. My husband would of gotten better service at the Veterinary Hospital or clinic.
I understand there were a lot of emergencies but my husband is important to me and he didn’t receive the care I would of wanted.

My moms friend rushed my mom in the emergency room because she was having a heart attack. They made her wait almost an hour to take her back and let two people go back before her because they were younger. When she finally did go back to the room she was having extreme pain to where she was yelling and they made her wait for any service until her insurance went through. This was a horrible experience and there is so much more to it that happened, but this right here is enough said. And they were super unfriendly

My aunt was there in 2017 for major heart problems. She could not have had better care. She even made a special trip back there to perssonally thank them for their care!

I have been going to Dr. Smith and his staff at Wound Care twice a week for several weeks now. They are a wonderful team! He's very interactive, and always asks how I feel and if this feels better. The nurses have my treatment down to a science and I'm in and out in no time! If you have to be treated, this is the place to be. And the office is on the 3rd floor of the new building and the view of Jefferson City is beautiful!
