I had a really great experience with my 1st time anesthesia and cyst removal surgery. Great nurses great doctors great team and they are treating me real nice since day 1. I'd really think that's the way hospital should be. Thank you !

Surprised to see the negative reviews. My first experience here was about 2 months ago when I came to the emergency room for serious pain caused by a hernia. The staff was attentive and professional and treated me wonderfully. Since then I have seen 2 doctors, Dr Khanna and Dr Diamond, both of whom were very professional, answered all my questions, and both of their staffs were pleasant. Went to have a breathing test yesterday, the receptionist, the assistant, and the doctor were all women at least 40 years of age and they all were the most kind and pleasant people, and all did their jobs quite well.

It gets two stars for the neat ER room and quickly being seen. Also the nurses were very nice. Presented for pain in my foot and had to walk far back to my hospital room. Was not offered a chair at all. A PA came in and was very rough, giggled something about working with children and diagnosed it as a bug bite on my foot with an allergic reaction and infection and prescribed antibiotics. Did not explain anything even when I asked and scurried away. Didn’t even ask me about allergies, I carry an epi-pen. Did not offer any suggestions or solutions on how to minimize pain.

Worst experience at a hospital. Upon arrival my blood pressure was elevated in which after putting me in my room, it was never checked again. Even before discharging me, Dr. Eisenbrock gave no consideration to my concerns and gave me a "G.I Cocktail" which made my body start shaking, my eyes started tearing, and it made me feel like I had to vomit(which I cant do, due to a previous surgery). The nurse upon seeing this and talking to the doctor gave me a Zofran, which did nothing. I told them this and asked if this was a normal side effect. The nurse said no but she hopes I feel better and discharged me anyway. I then found out that part of the medication affects your nerves and because they never asked me my health conditions or family history, they didnt know I have several neurological conditions in my family. Which I assume is the reason for the adverse reactions. My boyfriend then had to drive me home in which I was up for hours as my body went through random pains and cramping. Conditions that were not a problem before arriving. And the reasons on my discharge paperwork as to why I should come back to the emergency room, was the same conditions in which I left with. And they did nothing.

I’m currently admitted into Chestnut Hill Hospital and I’m having the worst experience of my life. My nurses so far have all been saints(except 2 whose name were Sharon and Bre{Sharon attempted to put my girlfriend out at 3am for trying to get me help and Bre had a nasty attitude with me since she came into the room. For example she never asked how I felt, only gave me my meds and stormed out and just all around refused to help give me knowledge about anything}) and I appreciate all they have been doing for me. Wendy, Jeanne, Tom, Kyle, and my newest nursing assistant tonight Dionrah have all made me feel comfortable and heard. However, both doctors that have seen me, Dr.Tetali and Dr.TJ have left me feeling lost, confused, and all around frustrated. I was diagnosed with pancreatitis which has been one of the hardest things to go threw in my entire life and both doctors have given me the smallest explanation to questions I’ve had, overlooked my concerns and changed the only medicine routine that was seeming to be helping with my pain. Not to mention I am unable to eat and drink (which I understand to some extent) but even when asked to have the smallest sip of ginger ale or water, I’m refused. I’ve asked numerous times for Dr.TJ to come and speak with me and besides the time he came in to reiterate the SAME exact unexplainable nonsense he’s already said, he refused to come back to speak with me because he was “done his rounds”. Besides the nurses help who’ve I mentioned before this has been an emotional, disappointing time at CHH
