Cox Monett Hospital

Brought my Son into the ER last month for a lacerated fingertip with an open fracture. Everything went very well, was seen quickly. The Nurse Practitioner did a great job stitching his finger back on. The Nurse was very friendly and helpful kept him calm and informed. The Doctor came in several times to oversee and check on him. I appreciate the staff and the whole visit went really well. Thanks, He is healing nicely.

Sucks I even have to give a star. Had my daughter here in 2017. My doctor was great, that was it. I wasn’t rushed in. I was asked for my if and insurance and had to sit in an empty waiting room while in labor before they even asked what was wrong. They charged the wrong insurance and that was a fight all of its own. Then tried to sue me for not paying once my insurance covered it. Fast forward 2 years they won’t take the bill out of collections or off of my credit report even though they lost in court. Better business bureau is investigating.

I have been to this ER several times in my short time living in Monett and I am very disappointed. The doctors don't listen to you they don't pay attention to the pain you're in or anything. I went in in chest pain and had to literally suffer with the pain because the doctor couldn't find a reason for my chest pain. I thought being in pain was reason enough to get pain medicine but apparently you have to be dying at this emergency room in order to get it. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone I know because the staff there is rude, and the doctors don't have good bedside manner. It is ridiculous to go there when they don't treat you right.

During an ER visit, my wife was "treated" poorly. Hard to use the word "treated" though, as the doctor did literally nothing. After another 2 days of suffering from severe bronchitis, I took her Mercy in Aurora. The doc there actually treated her and she was better in a week.

The staff at this place are amazing and couldn't ask for better ppl to b so supportive with what I am personally going threw... Want to say a big thank you to the staff here
