Crossroads exceeded all of my expectations. The time and care they take on their patients is unmatchable to any other hospital. Everywhere you go is a smiling face and listening ear. They offer an abundance of services. Specialty clinics with an amazing surgery department, a time friendly emergency room, sleep studies, and outpatient treatments. There is no limit what this hospital can offer you. I highly reccomend Crossroads if you are looking for the best care for you or your loved one.

Dr. Wood in the ED was professional and has a great bedside manner. Ultrasound tech was very professional, making my son comfortable during an awkward procedure. Dr. Tarter, radiologist, spoke to us after the procedure to explain his report. Everyone was prompt, courteous, thorough. I would highly recommend.

My mother was here got transfered from Marshal Browning hospital in DuQuoin because they didn't have the right equipment for a certain blood clot test. She has been at the crossroads all night and it is now almost noon the next day and they have not checked her vitals twice. I mean she could have a serious blood clot and still no test. No vitals today, I have never seen care like this. I would never recommend this hospital EVER!!! They still have never and came back and got her stool sample that has been sitting there for 3 hrs. Simply just horrible care. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

On 5/24/19 I entered ER greeted by a friendly, professional admissions staffer, I was instructed to take a seat and would be taken in a short time. 2 minutes later Triage nurse, Heather RN appeared brought me into ER. Polite, friendly and made me feel secure about my care and concerns. She then informed Dr Forester I was ready to be seen. The Doctor is awesome , I had had care before by her. Unfortunately I was to be admitted as my condition warranted observation care. I am in room 201 and greeted by my Care Team !!! Nurse: Val. ( later it would be Sarah then Marián)exemplary team of Nurses ! CNA : Brittany ( later Mayra then Dawson) What a great efficient, caring team) Doctor: Doctor Schwarm Case Manager: Kayla Unit Manger : Allison (wow! So on target as it should be !!!!) Christopher, Unit secretary/Teleprompter Cheerful, efficient! Then Bernice from House Cleaning,,,,,,sunshine enters room when she walks in,,, Smiley, happy upbeat, My rooms smells so clean and is clean. Then there is Susie,,,,, this woman went out of her to find food that I would be able to eat. Soft or liquid only,,,,,no water do to outage. She was creative fixed what she could. I did have food from home and some restaurants brought in. Crossroads,,,,,,, 2fl Care Team are an outstanding, cohesive team. My medical care is off the charts , There are not enough superlatives to describe my love of these people and the care and pride they give and show. My Care Team SEE the patient NOT the Chart !!!! Thank you all. Sincerely, Bonnie J Armendariz

I had foot surgery here 2/2019 and my nurse started putting in my IV w/o gloves on. Then when I woke up from the anesthesia, I had bloody gauze on that hand and the IV was in my other hand. They said I had a "freak out" and pulled the IV out. I asked my doctor about it the following day and she said she knew nothing about a "freak out". Hmm, sounds shady to me. Will not have another procedure at this hospital. Staff was nice and I'm still alive so I will give a 2 star rating.
