So I went in to Danville Hospital for the last time. Three years ago I had to be carried away by ambulance to Danville ER because I slipped a disc in my back already on file. Today I came in because I had fell on my back and hurt myself again I was given a low shot of Torodol and a doctor's note for ONE day and that's ALL!
I was told by a nurse that I was going to get tell MONDAY. Lies! So I can't move without hurting bad and I have to go back to work tomorrow gee thanks Danville Hospital I appreciate your concern😟😤😢

I had triplets there in May of 2017. First set of triplets delivered there in decades with no attention. I was blessed though because of Dr.Wilson and UVA Nets teams. The OB team and anesthesiologist we’re phenomenal as well. I previously had a gastric bypass surgery before giving birth. After having kids, I developed a hernia that was very painful and I went in with the pain as I described it. They did a pregnancy test and stated they did not know what was going on. I then stated to the dr, I will just make the trip to UVA and glad I did. If the dr would have listened when I said no I’m not pregnant because of bilateral tubal removal. Understood the symptoms, he might have recognized what was going on as well. Not all of DRMC lack empathy or compassion because I have encountered some wonderful professionals there. At the same time I have seen some show so little care to the details that are being given or being displayed with no cares for human preservation, I would rather stay in the painful state I’m in and make an hour or two hour drive to people who care if I live or not.

My mother fell, went to the Sovah emergency room, had xrays and CT scan. Was told "nothing is broken" and was sent home. She stayed in bed with excruciating pain for 18 days. Called GoDocs. They sent a mobile xray tech who took three xrays and found out her leg IS broken. Two days later the pain was unbearable so she went to Sovah ER again. This time they said she has a medial and lateral plateau fracture of the knee. The ER doctor and a radiologist were supposed to evaluate the xrays and CT scan on the first visit. How could they both miss a fracture? I'd like to personally thank the idiot morons who thought it was a good idea to sell our hospital.

Very satisfied with emergency services provided by the staff in the ER. It was during a time when our local hospital was full, so they had to divert the ambulance carrying my dad to Danville Regional a.k.a. Sovah Health- Danville. The staff and nurses on the Orthopedic floor were all fantastic to my dad. Everyone was caring and compassionate, and provided excellence in nursing care during his surgery and week long admission.

The ER Dept was poorly functional. Halls are very narrow. Staff and patients family acting as if it's a circus. House keeping staff and some hospital staff to busy creating personal drama instead of treatment for patients. 93 year old father in-law had bandage ripped off and took skin with it. Let it bleed for several hours until he was being transferred to Duke and we insisted before he left. It was9 hours if medical hell till we got him to Duke.
