I came in from traveling (dont live anywhere near VA) with a bad cough and couldn't catch my breath, thus was the closest hospitality me at the time. The er immediately got me back got me on oxygen, started breathing treatments, and started tests. 3 hours later I was admitted with full blown pneumonia and respiratory failure in one lung. They checked everything that another hospital in NC failed to look for at all 2 weeks prior. This hospital literally saved my life, not only that I had my son with me on the road at the time. They went above and beyond to make sure myself and my son(10) were comfortable the 8 days I was there. They were truly a blessing when it was needed the most. My care was excellent and my Dr. made sure that everything that could possibly be done was done to help me recover as quickly as possible. The nurses were very kind and went so far above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met and that my son was comfortable and happy while being stuck there with me also. I cant praise the staff here enough for everything they did.

I went to the hospital to get my blood pressure check they had me in the hospital for hr the head nurse Tony didn't do anything but keep me in a room where people go in have me understand. Security watch all I went there thinking I was going to get my blood pressure down and my blood pressure is still up

If you're ready to meet your Maker, go ahead and take that gamble This hospital is notorious for killing people that had no business dying. I say that with all sincerity. What this hospital needs is roughly 50 bulldozers and a team of dump trucks. ... And maybe 30-40 honest prosecuting attorneys SOVAH is a local joke My wife (immediately diagnosed with Crohn's disease by Duke) spent four different stints, at four days each time at this dump. Dr. Patel wouldn't take her off of the medication that he should have never put her on in the first place, was making her sicker (and almost killing her), told her she was lazy, and wouldn't give her paperwork for a leave at work, and finally told her she had the flu because that's what is going around. All that after he did TWO colonoscopies! My wife LITERALLY looked like a prisoner of war who had been starved. I took her down to Duke. They had her healthy in ONE WEEK. She's never had a problem since I could tell you about the experience with her miscarriage, but it's too painful to talk about. It was just as bad as the story above. Trust me

They left a turn a ket on my mother's arm. She was in so much pain from chest pain she didn't even realize her arm was turning blue and cold. I gave them one star because google doesn't have any negative stars!

They have a short waiting time which is good but some of the doctors speak in a condescending tone and to me that inappropriate
