feedback about Durham Va Medical Center
This Va medical center is amazing. The staff is absolutely the best we have ever dealt with, everyone is more then willing to help. The doctors are great, they actually help their patients and care! We did not meet an unfriendly person there and like I said everyone was more then willing to help in anyway they could. We even were created with friendly smiles and hellos just walking in the hallways. This Va is one of the best!
Total joke, I am convinced that the people working in this building haven’t a care in the world about the veterans. I feel horrible for elderly veterans who are certainly confused by these inept folks in charge of their medical care. Absolutely unbelievable, all jokes aside veterans would be in better care with the CVS walk in pharmacy consult.
30,40, an hour on hold to be hung up on, and further disrespected.
In America this is what you get, a ballooning VA budget and terrible care.
Veterans deserve better.
Helpful Staff members are hard to come by. Most are apathetic and unconcerned with the patients needs. Long wait times on the phone only to be disconnected before speaking to an operator of any sort. Something needs to happen to fix the gross negligence displayed here.
It’s no wonder there veterans who leave the VA and shoot themselves in their cars.
Attentive service! They are affiliated with Duke Healthcare and have very informative staff and doctors.
I’m tired of walking into fast food restaurants in Durham and getting more respect, compassion, and care from those workers than the workers at this VA Hospital. Why are the administrative workers at this VA so rude and don’t care about anything but themselves to the point you can tell they just want you out of their face. Why do nurses talk about personal stuff in the ER like its their Saturday night out instead taking their duty more seriously? I really don’t understand a place that deals with so much life and death doesn’t really have a firmer outlook on their responsibility as a whole! I feel like I have given more care to the aircraft I fixed while in the Marine Corps deployed than the nurses or workers at this VA give to their patients while getting to go home and sleep in their beds. America why do you care more about mediocrity and socialization than the notion of freedom actually costing blood?
