This hospital has always been good to my family the friendly people who work all over the hospital go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients. They deserve a well deserved Pat on the back

Absolutely pitiful excuse of a hospital. If you have to go to the ER at this hospital ask for the female nurse practitioner..(Linda)she is the best thing going for them. The male Dr. K is very rude and cocky. I wasn't impressed at all. After arriving with my daughter having a " seizure like" allergic reaction we waited 45 minutes for a nurse to bring in Benedryl. The whole time my daughter is shaking and crying in pain. No one ever came in to give it to her. So I tried to get a nurses attention, and she blatantly ignored me. I tried to find the Dr, and I saw him watching movie trailers on the computer. By this time, I am furious!!! I got a wheelchair and wheeled my daughter out right past all the nurses and Dr. She could get better care at home. This hospital has really went downhill. Drive to Bham if at all possible! I will be filing a complaint to the administration.

Wife was admitted after a car crash. Although she complained of pain in her hand, it was never x-rayed. It wasn't until she was readmitted a month later and after much insistence that they finally found out it was broken.
They treated it but it was too late and that hand is forever impaired.

Just filed a compliance report on this hospital. My Dad was supposed to be admitted today, because he couldn't be admitted last night due to no rooms. The Dr's office called after hearing from the hospital and he was told to be there at 1pm. He arrives only to be told, 'oops, we forgot to call the Dr's office back and tell them we DON'T have a room.' This hospital needs to be take over by a company who will completely revamp it with staff who can do a better job than this.
