High Lite

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not ask from a mother who just gave birth to hold her baby till she comes home. Be considerate. These mothers can get a nervous breakdown from this alone. Go to any other hospital, were they care for mothers and babys alike. Mothers will bond more productive with baby when not tired. Mothers will heal much quicker if they can have a moment to rest, while nurses look after baby. it is not healthy and not productive to bond with your baby 24/7. The mother is also humane. give her a chance to heal.

Star

If I could give zero stars, I would. I cried out in excruciating pain for 5 HOURS and it seemed like the staff did not believe me. The nurse was so rude and tried to tell me that I wouldn’t be in so much pain if I would calm down. I had to tell her that she needed to be more patient and compassionate with her patients and she responded with “I am but you...” and I stopped her and told her that’s her job. After hours and hours I asked to speak to a supervisor, of which a dr came over and tried to discharge me without any type of check up or anything. He reluctantly gave me a pain reliever and sent me on my way. 20 Minutes later I was in an ambulance to another hospital. If you get a choice, don’t choose there.

The staff in the E.R is exceptional . They were there when my mom needed extra help getting around and assisted in many ways that were such a blessing to my family and I . Thank you Wendy Ortiz for your professionalism and care for the patients .

So unfortunately I had to pay this place a visit while on a business vacation and had an overall great experience. I signed in at the desk, went to the bathroom and by the time I came out they already called for me to triage. Overall spent about 2 hours there. They were incredibly busy and there where people on stretchers in the hallway. I’m not really used to seeing this being from GA but it’s understandable due to the high population. The people in the hallway are also people who have minor problems. They do have to prioritize major problems over of paper cuts.

I was admitted to the Hospital back on August 23rd , I was bleeding inside and needed a transfusion that went well, the problem I have with Good Sam is there is no good Communication between the Doctors and the Departments about the Patients and what they are there for. I am a diabetic and the doctor told me I could eat well I was told my meal ticket was sent to the kitchen at 4 in the afternoon 7 came around and no dinner plate, they has to send for the supervisor to get me food.
