I am surprised by all the poor reviews posted here. Perhaps the hospital made improvements as a result of those complaints?
I took my dad through the ED. I was very surprised to see free valet parking and an actual concierge service who greets you when you enter. The desk staff were courteous and efficient and the nurses were fantastic. My dad was admitted and then had emergency surgery. The staff - everyone from surgical team to nurses and techs and dietary staff- were compassionate and attentive. Having a family member in the hospital or being hospitalized yourself is very traumatic. Healthcare staff is generally overworked. This team was fantastic. I even thought that management must be good for the staff to be so caring and customer service oriented.

My wife lost a tooth and it took 5 hours to get through there. If we would've been seen in under 2, they could've contacted the oral surgeon and put the original tooth back in saved us a lot of time, stress, and money. I am not a fan of this E.R. at all. The people were nice though, most if them.

MOST OF THE NURSES ARE VERY VERY NASTY, THEY DON'T GIVE SERVICE, BUT ONE PART WAS GOOD THAT THEY HAVE PRIVATE ROOMS EXCEPT FOR THAT IT'S A HORRIBLE HOSPITAL AT THE MATERNITY DEPT. THEY BRING YOU THE BABY WHEN EVER THEY CAN .THEY DON'T LET YOU REST. THEY DON'T CLEAN OR CHANGE LINEN FROM FRIDAY UNTIL MONDAY. I HAD MY BABY ON FRIDAY, & I needed to stay with these bloody linen for over 48 hours I would rather be home for such service

I went to the ER and was seen fairly quickly. Due to the nature of my problem, quick action was taken and resolved. The ER nurses and OR nurses were very pleasant and very caring. The ER/OR docs were nice, was seen by multiple people. The nurses on the 4th floor were very nice but interrupt you a lot. Thank god for the black male nurse who is an expert at finding veins. The transport people were nice. I only had 1 issue with a nurse who clearly doesnt like people of color but I did not interact with her much. There needs to be better parking and noise control.
