My dad was recently admitted to this hospital. He was placed in ICU for holding. I can not say enough how awesome the ICU nurses were. Then he was placed on fifth floor. The total opposite is true for fifth floor nurses. One of the nurses thought it was a good idea to slap him on his butt and scream at him to wake up, not just once but several times. They sent him home drugged up so much that he was out of it for the next day and a half. We will NEVER use Marshall hospital again and suggest that you don’t either.

My dad was in the ER for 9 HOURS before he got a room in the hospital!! He's 86 & had to lay on the stretcher from the ambulance with me in the ER room for 9 HOURS!! He then stayed in the hospital for 5 miserable days in which they never once got his medication right. Almost overdosed him on his pain medication one night and never got any rest. The nurses change shifts at 6:00 AM so he was awakened every morning at 5:30 so the nurses who were ending their shifts could do whatever it is they have to do before they leave. Even the nurses admitted to me that this is the worst place to be if you want to get any sleep. Nurses coming in his room every 2-3 hours. Over medicating, not letting him rest - terrible! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I might be a little biased coming from California. But I just had to be seen in the ER for breathing problems. Never been before, they had me checked in and in a bed in just a few minutes. And we're on top of everything, very polite, kind. I have never been so well welln care of in a hospital before. And I go several times a year. Turns out I have pneumonia and I was taken care of to a point they were comfortable being able to send me home, sent home with prescriptions. I am so happy with the care I received.

The worst hospital ever. I went by ambulance at 7:45 and was released at 3:45 am and at that time I had no one I could call . I was made to walk it took me 3 hours to get home sick and throwing up . Thinks christus good Sheppard hospital for your first rate care if my dog gets sick you would be the last place I would go

I had to go here the last month. I had surgery on my right arm. Dr Duncan. He was caring and personal dr. I went to dr. Belows and they promised me they were calling in prescription for Linzess but I checked two times at Walmart several days a week, no prescription. Had to pay out copay $1700 but they let me pay it out in two months. Helped me greatly. Clean hospital. People are nice and friendly who work there. I am so pleased of this hospital.
