If I could I wouldn't give this place any stars. I've been vomiting up blood, having nasty black diarrhea, the chills and the symptoms of something potentially fatal and they did nothing at all to help me out. I even called 911 and they were able to get me in the emergency room but all they did was send me out to the lobby. I've been discriminated by this hospital and they should just close this place down. The staff was decently nice but with bad stomach cramps and being sick I couldn't wait any longer. I saw the other patients there too and one lady was begging for a blanket for at least 30 minutes. I'm absolutely disgusted with this hospital. 👎

This ER is such a joke. I spent 6 hours here wondering if I was going to lose my baby. I was bleeding through my clothes and was made to sit in the waiting room! I was sent home with no answers, no whether or not I was going lose my baby, send home in pain and bloody clothes. Then I receive a bill for over $1000 because the hospital didn't bill my insurance, just went to collections! I have insurance!!! They know that because they were quick to make me pay my copay as I'm bleeding onto the wheel chair! Shame on these people and place. Not my first bad experience here either!

The doctors in this hospital don't know their asses from a hole in the ground. My sister went in for a severe migraine and asked for pain management prescriptions, and instead, her doctor started an IV, but didn't give her anything for 6 hours to see if the Imitrex nasal spray he prescribed worked. When he finally got the clue that it wasn't working, he then prescribed magnesium and haldol for her pain. Let me repeat....MAGNESIUM and HALDOL!!! Haldol is for schizophrenics, and magnesium at that point in the game with my sister's migraine wasn't going to do a damn bit of good. All told, my sister was in the ER for 10 hours, with an IV stint in her hand that wasn't used despite being told they would use it for saline fluids because she was dehydrated; she was pumped full of drugs that she had NO business being treated with; AND her headache STILL didn't go anywhere. We ended up getting up & leaving AMA. I refuse to take my sister back to Grossmont Hospital ever again. Or to go there myself. Ever. They are BEYOND clueless it's ridiculous to the point of negligence!!!

Wow I'm writing this review while sitting here at the waiting room we check in exactly 3 pm now its 12 am and we are still at the lobby😭😭😭what a joke my husband it's on 3L oxygen with the heart rate of 135 to 140 and oxygen of 92 93 but still they seems no mercy they keep monitoring his vitals every after and hour and his heart rate still they same with low oxygen. I complained to the LvN in charge at the lobby all they said is oh no!!!!!he is totally fine he has oxygen on!!!!I'm like really????this is Terrible!!!!! I guess he is right nobody cares about the old people anymore sad!!!!
