I went last night because of excessive blood loss due to a molar/wisdom extraction. The doctor , Tina, was very knowledgeable and nice. She hooked me up with 2 litres of fluid intravenously cuz I felt like I was dying. I guess I was just dehydrated from the blood loss. This hospital needs more doctors like Tina!
On 07/06/18 I dislocated my toe nail from my base of my toe standing straight up vertical. I live in Hemet so I had to go to this emergency room. To make a long story short I was told that my injured toe was not an emergency and they could not help me. A nurse practitioner looked at it for a couple of seconds and told her assistant to wrap some gauze around it. Practitioner then walked away and I never saw her again. She did not clean the wound or disinfect it. By this time I am so frustrated and exhausted from the incompetence that I just walked out of the emergency room in disgust. I drove home and pushed the toe nail back down onto the nail bed the best that I could and poured alcohol over it and wrapped it up in the gauze the assistant gave me. They than sent me a bill for $882.65. I will never go back to this emergency room even if I were having a heart attack.
I walked into the emergency room this morning with a allergic reaction with in 15 min I saw the doctor and got epi pin and other meds was able to breathe clearly agin they kept me for the time needed for observation and the nurse did my discharge in a very timely manner .. every one that I came into contact with was very friendly and professional in my case every second mattered. must say they have made some changes hear for the best .. I had been hear before and will say it's now different ...
Well it won't let me review again but went tonight with my sick kid and was in and out with in 30 min I guess I'm lucky every time we go there I never have a problem staff is friendly and doctors have great bed side manners
Hemet hospital is a joke, I had to wait 4 hrs in a bed in the hallway in ER with the some staff members behind the counter making fun of me they thought I was homeless. After an hour I tried to complain, the only result was they got sent to lunch early. They came back and continued to harass me. I was there for 3 days they sent me home even though I was still sick. Its 2 weeks later I'm still sick and I'm going to Loma Linda.
This hospital needs some serious change from the top down, including the employees in admitting. I would not recommend any of my family use there services, they have the worst safety record grading of any hospital within a 40 mile radius. Check out other sites that rate hospital's overall safety. They describe systemic problems at this hospital.
