My husband had a routine yearly physical with Inland Family Care, and the person in charge of billing/coding coded it as something other than a physical. Because it was not coded as a physical, we are not being charged close to $500 for something that should have been free through our insurance. When my husband called for them to correct/resolve the issues, they told him no, said it was not their fault it was coded wrong, and that we would have to pay the almost $500 bill. This is inappropriate, incorrect, and extremely poor customer service. We are being charged for a physical that is free under our insurance. It was scheduled as a physical. It was said during the appointment itself that it was in fact a physical, yet they chose to code it as not a physical, causing us to pay a bill we will NOT be paying & CANNOT afford to pay that otherwise our insurance would have paid them for. Their loss on the money & their loss on a family of 4 who prior to, had spent years with Inland. We are extremely dissatisfied with the changes Inland has made to the billing department. It should have remained right in Waterville.

I've never had a less than stellar experience here.

I can’t say enough bad enough of about ER staff. They will let you sit in pain! I’m just getting ready to write a review to the board since I work at a doctors office and I can’t believe they can even treat people who are in so much pain that’s way. I went there by ambulance without going into specifics in screaming pain. When I got there the nurses said that there was only one doctor and 3 ambulances just arrived. Okay? So there are no other doctors anywhere to page? Well then both doctors and nurses kept under treating my pain. I had to call my mom who is a big wig at mainegengeral and they completely changed their tune. I actually got an organ removed( so my pain was rationalized) and I will say the doctor and nurses in the OR and after we’re incredible. As far as the ER talk about TERRIBLE!

This by far is the worst place to go. They run this office like McDonald's, in and out as fast as they can. I highly recommend staying far away from northern light.

Inland hospital and all of the primary care practices have a huge lack of organization, consideration, and overall manners. I have been with inland for 4 years as a patient and I have had 4 different PCP'S due to turnover. That says it all about this organization. Avoid it at all costs.
