My sister left the rehab unit on Friday afternoon: I was back in the ER just 5 hours later. We both experienced a kind, professional staff, an excellent trauma center and a dazzling diversity of medical professionals. The infrastructure may be dated, but the techniques used were up to date. The food seems homemade, the blankets were pretty sparce, but it still worked out. The docs were extremely attentive and listened well. A good place to get better.

Emergency rooms are crazy I understand. But if I'm talking to the doctor as a translator for a family member that lives with the patient why would you try to kick me out. The doctor doesn't know any Spanish. Get me a Spanish translator security! But no after I tell them I will leave after the doctor doesn't need me for translation you still trying to kick me out. It's not my fault ER has a lot of people but be understanding that some are there to translate and will leave after. Then when I'm trying to leave the hospital entirely I can't go back to just tell my family member we are leaving for the night so to tell the patient goodnight. Security tells me to call them. Mmm hello, hospitals don't have the best network. I just have to go back and tell her let's go. And once I ask if someone on his staff from inside could tell her to come out so we can leave he says no. First you kick me out and now you don't want me to leave. Worst experience I've had in a hospital.

Attentive staff they attempt to provide a top-level of care in spite of constraints the more often you have family there the last day have to stretch their attendants with one on one care. So definitely visit your people in hospitals for the best care. And there's a train station stop right on the corner.

On June 13, 2019 at about 10:30am I was supposed to travel to Florida to visit my best friend when I became ill in the plane and needed to be transported to an ER, one of EMS personnel told me that it was going to be Jamaica hospital I was in a state of panic as I heard from others that it was one of the worse hospital in Queens, my experience proved otherwise. The ambulance ride. EMS staff was caring, compassionate and professional, the intake personal, the security guard, the vascular tech, the nurses, the doctors went above and beyond to make sure that all my needs were met. I want to express my gratitude to all of you who contributed to my prompt recovery. May GOD continue to bless you all.

So far it is a worst hospital I've ever seen. Came with my child by ambulance with crazy stomach pain. She was screaming all the way but EMT's were more interested in her insurance information not her condition. Now sitting in waiting area for almost 20 minutes. She is in a constant pain but no one seems to care. Got forbid coming to this hospital.
